Work wear: A Pop of Pink

You’ll soon realize it is a rare occasion that I wear pants to the office. Being somewhat of a girly girl, my work wordrobe consists mostly of dresses, skirts, and feminine tops; however, today I broke out of my routine and mixed it up with a pair of gray trousers from Express.

I’ve actually had these pants for a couple years now, and they remain one of my favorite pairs because of their versatility. They really do go with everything, including this navy blue and white striped blouse from J. Crew. Both pieces are pretty neutral, so I added some fun accessories to make the outfit a little more interesting.

The skinny pink belt adds a little pop of color, but I think the chunky Bamboleo necklace by Stella and Dot necklace ended up being the centerpiece.

I have to admit, whenever I’m feeling a little plain, a good statement necklace always makes me feel more put-together.

Do you have a go-to item or piece of jewelry that you keep in constant rotation?
