1. This was my first week back on my running training schedule. Let me tell you, IT.WAS.TOUGH. Five am comes way too early when you aren’t accustomed to it. Whining aside, I’m really happy to be getting back into running. I’d kind of missed it! And yes, I realize how crazy that may sound.
2. I spent a couple hours with little Miss Madi on Tuesday, one my best friend’s daughters. Well, actually I spent it with her and “Bun-Bun.” She might be one of the most adorable kids on this planet. Being with her almost makes me want to get preggo like yesterday. Almost.
3. I tried kombucha tea for the first time this week. It was a little more like “kombucha lite” because it was a blend, but I liked it! The jury is still out on its health benefits, so don’t call me a convert quite yet.
4. I stepped out of my fashion comfort zone this week and it definitely paid off! I can’t wait to wear denim on denim again!
5. On Sunday, Aaron and I are going with two other couples to Charlottesville for a limousine wine tour. I think you all know how I feel about wine. It goes without saying that I’m going to be a happy girl this weekend!
What was the highlight of your week?

ohhh a wine tour sounds awfully fun! I’m also trying to get back into my running routine-it’s definitely not easy!
I hate the way Kombucha tastes, but I always feel good after drinking them. I’ll have to try that lite version!
Very cool on the wine tour! I had no idea Charlottesville did that. We actually like 45 minutes away from there and are headed there next month for some baby shopping before little one comes. Have fun!
You look adorable in those denim on denim looks. Good for you for stepping out of your comfort zone. Have a great weekend!

We are shoe twins! Brooks Defyance?! I too need to get back into running…
Shoe twinsies! Starting back is so difficult. After a week and a half I think my body is just starting to remember how this whole running thing works!
Congrats on getting back into running and yay for denim on denim! I have yet to get a chambray shirt, but it’s #1 on my to buy list! I’m happy to have found your blog through H54F and I can’t wait to follow future adventures!

#3 – I’ve tried that stuff myself – the original – and honestly I wasn’t too thrilled with the taste. Maybe I should try the flavored.
Still loving that denim on denim 🙂
love this!

I can’t even make myself do a 5 PM run much less an AM one! Good for you!
I hope you enjoyed Charlottesville! I love doing vineyard tours up there!
I need to get back into running too, as soon as I get over this cold!
I also hate 5 am wake up calls. I wake up at 5 am each work day. I love denim on denim. That wine tour sounds like fun.
