Preppy Layers for Work and the Weekend

Once Fall finally rolls around, one of my favorite ways to add warmth to my wardrobe is by simple layering. Since it’s a bit unseasonably warm this week (hello, 85 degree days), sticking to light layers is the only way to go. For work, I was all about keepin’ it classic. (Familiar words around these parts, huh?)For play, I threw on my distressed skinnies (scored at Marshalls for only $60!) and camo studded flats from Target. Love this! I really like keeping the same tops from work and changing the bottoms out for denim and a casual shoe afterwards.

I’m all about the layers! I always want to wear an outfit like this to work, but I am not coordinated enough to make the sweater sit nicely on top of the buttons! haha
