On Sunday, Aaron and I met up with some friends for the Carytown Wine and Food Festival. Although I wish I could say we enjoyed some lovely Fall weather, it felt more like July in Virginia.
With 90 degree temps, I had no choice but to break out a tank top, but I refused to wear shorts. It is October after all!
This tank was a find from a J.Crew Warehouse sale. Although it was boxy and shapeless, I loved the way it looked with a little side tie. Bring back the 80’s, y’all!

I know, I refused to wear shorts over the weekend even though it was 90 degrees, it’s OCTOBER! You have a nice mix by wearing the jeans and keeping it cool with your adorable tank and sandals.
It just doesn’t feel right wearing shorts in October but I guess I will take this over the cold months ahead!
