My love for chambray know no bounds. It’s one of those pieces that I consistently reach for week after week. Going to work? Chambray. Casual outfit? Why not chambray? This is probably why I have now amassed a collection of three in different washes. There are infinite possibilities when it comes to styling them, but here are my current top five favorites!
1. With a pencil skirt and cardigan. I don’t call it my work uniform for nothin’. This combination always works and feels put together, but the chambray keeps the look modern and un-stuffy.

2. Knotted over a pencil skirt. This is another work-appropriate combination that isn’t boring or dull. The knotted bottom adds a little youthful detail.

3. With colored denim. If a full on Canadian Tuxedo intimidates you, pairing chambray with colored denim is a great way to dip your toe in the water. The possibilities are endless with this option!

4. Belted over a dress. Treat your chambray like a modern cardigan or lightweight jacket and belt it over a dress. It’s such a quick and easy way to layer while creating a completely different look for a dress!

5. Open over a tee. Along the same lines as #4, wearing a chambray top open over a tee creates a jacket look. It’s a perfect way to layer graphic tees!

Yes, yes, and more yesessss!! I do love a chambray shirt. I totally agree to dressing it up or down (and wearing it with everything!!!) I haven’t tried it over a dress with a belt…need to do that!
