With December right around the corner, I’ve got my mind on all things Holiday-related: Christmas parties, my birthday and New Years Eve will be here before we know it. (YAY!) Naturally all of those celebratory occasions call from some serious sparkle, right? So in effort to find a little holiday outfit inspiration, I picked up two of my favorite magazines, People StyleWatch and InStyle from the Targ and got to reading over the weekend. I loved all of the glitzy little details they featured and couldn’t wait to create my own party-ready look.what to wear to a new years party 2013Instead of going over-the-top with head to toe sparkle for my holiday look, I chose to feature sparkly details like a sequin tank, glittery bow belt and gold shoes. Mixing texture, like leather with a crepe skirt and polka dot tights also created plenty of interest while sticking to a neutral background. It doesn’t complete with the glitz, giving this look with a slightly more laid-back vibe.
