It may be ridiculously cold outside, but I’ve got to admit that it really doesn’t change my work attire. (Once a pencil skirt girl, always a pencil skirt girl?) Sure, it can occasionally persuade me to swap heels for boots and tights, but even in Winter, I still default to my ole faithfuls.Thankfully I do have a few pieces, like this heavier wool blazer, that help me bundle up, but otherwise I’m business as usual. And thank goodness for working in a building with an attached garage. Limited outdoors time makes it a lot easier on me!

Classic work look, i have the same skirt I need to wear it with gray.
I love that blazer! The color pallet is gorgeous. Yes, I wear all my clothes through the winter too. Just have to make sure the shoes fit in the bag 🙂

Do you actually wear those to work or do you wear boots and bring the shoes? Womens shoes are so not made for snow.
I love the color tipping on the blazer! It has been so cold here that I can’t remember the last time I wore a skirt/dress. My legs would just freeze!

This adorable outfit, but still in the cold, makes me feel guilty about my sweater suitable for wearing in a ski lodge, black pants and black boots. But in my defense it was 8 degrees this morning and I don’t have an attached garage! Come on spring!!
I love this look, especially the blazer! I take public transit to work so I could never rock bare legs and heels in the snow, I would likely fall on my face and then freeze to death 🙂

Love this outfit! I’ve been wearing pencil skirts less since it’s so cold, and I really miss them!
I don’t know how you can deal with the cold without tights (i’m cold indoors as well!) but you do look great with your classy office attire.
Very pretty outfit!!!!!

Thank necklace is so pretty! i love pencil skirts and miss wearing them for work!
Sadly I get a lot of outside time on my commute to work so I have to think about warmth. and often just stick with jeans.

My dealing with the cold has basically put my legs into hibernation! I can’t wait to have warmer temps!
Super cute. Love that blazer!
So one of my new years promises was to invest in some adult clothing and when I finally head to the store to do that, I’m taking some screenshots of your blog! You have the most stylish work appropriate closet and I need to take note!
I cannot believe you are wearing heels in the snow. i try to not expose any part of my body- i am a bib baby! haha
You are so brave to stay committed to the pencil skirt despite the winter weather! I caved and have retreated to trousers + boots. 🙂
Love the piped blazer- super cute!

We’re basically wearing the same thing today. Great minds. 🙂
You’re brave! i definitely add a lot more pants to my winter work style, but then again I have about a 7-10 minute walk from our parking lot to my office. brrr!
Snow in Richmond? The world is ending!!! But that outfit is really cute.
You look so chic and professional! And I am so obsessed with your necklace!!!
I love the navy, gray, and maroon color scheme in this look! I am impressed that you can rock bare legs! My legs have been hidden under pants and tights since November. Cannot wait until the springtime!

You have my 2 basic pieces on…polka dots and pearls!! And that’s the good thing about being inside for a big chunk of day…you can wear your “normal” attire year round!
That red pencil skirt is so nice! Such a lovely work outfit with the polka dot shirt 🙂
I love the piping on this blazer and this necklace!
I love a pencil skirt and blouse for work! Though I’ve been wearing lots of dresses with slips, tights and shorts 🙂
