Winter Office Style

It may be ridiculously cold outside, but I’ve got to admit that it really doesn’t change my work attire. (Once a pencil skirt girl, always a pencil skirt girl?) Sure, it can occasionally persuade me to swap heels for boots and tights, but even in Winter, I still default to my ole faithfuls.how add personality to business wearThankfully I do have a few pieces, like this heavier wool blazer, that help me bundle up, but otherwise I’m business as usual. This adorable outfit, but still in the cold, makes me feel guilty about my sweater suitable for wearing in a ski lodge, black pants and black boots. But in my defense it was 8 degrees this morning and I don’t have an attached garage! Come on spring!!

So one of my new years promises was to invest in some adult clothing and when I finally head to the store to do that, I’m taking some screenshots of your blog! You have the most stylish work appropriate closet and I need to take note!

You have my 2 basic pieces on…polka dots and pearls!! And that’s the good thing about being inside for a big chunk of day…you can wear your “normal” attire year round!
