Chambray & A Blazer

Oh, chambray. My ole faithful. When I’m at a loss of what to wear, I always reach for it. Typically I pair it with a pencil skirt for the office, but this week’s chill required pants. To dress it up a bit a blazer and layers of pearls did the trick.how wear skinny pants to workAnd I don’t know if I’ve gushed about J.Crew’s Minnie pant before, but they are another one of my wardrobe staples. Much thicker than leggings but with a perfectly slim cut and plenty of stretch, these pants work great in Summer with flats and perfectly in Winter tucked into boots. Your background and general snowlessness are making me incredibly jealous. As is this outfit! I’m loving the blazer, and you’re making me want to try the Minnie pant! I’ve heard mixed reviews so I’m not totally sold, but they could be worth trying!

I love pairing a chambray shirt with looser fitting black pants for work. I like to tuck it in but wear it unbuttoned a couple of buttons and don a big statement necklace (usually with pearls too!).
I also pair it with black skinny pants and leopard flats, especially during the summer.
I’m going to have to check out the pants you are talking about!

Love this! So many wardrobe staples for me too – ponte pants, chambray, fun necklace, blazer – that a girl can always count on when she’s not sure what to wear. And of course even better when you put them all together!
