As the end of my first trimester rapidly approaches, getting dressed for work has become increasingly difficult. I haven’t gained any weight yet, but my body has definitely made some changes. And for a girl who lived in pencil skirts for the office, I’ve now found my work wardrobe pretty non-existant. My only saving grace has been my dress collection. Wrap dress and shirt dresses have enough stretch to accommodate the growing bust and belly, which make them perfect for now. But I have a feeling I’ll also be reaching for them again once the baby arrives. Throwing on one piece makes for quick mornings!

Dresses are always a good choice for work! 🙂 I owned a few elasticated waist pencil skirts, some I can even still wear now into my second trimester, they were great! But the zipper ones I had to pack away pretty quickly too!
You look adorable in that wrap dress, I so need one.
You look so fantastic! I remember feeling that same way. I lived in dresses and found that asos had some really easy and chic maternity wear.

Dressing during the first trimester really is so hard. I did the same thing…dresses are THE way to go!
A comfy dress paired with a jacket or blazer is always a quick and great option. You look amazing.

Wrap dresses for the WIN! You look gorgeous – and I am beyond excited for you! xx
Love that dress on you! The print is so great!
And yes, wrap dresses are definitely going to be your work savior, hehe 😀
I think wrap-dresses are the ultimate perfect dress. They flatters all body types and can be dressed up or down. They’re one of my favorites.

Ahh I missed your Valentine’s Day post so, therefore, I also missed the big announcement! Congratulations!! That is so exciting. I’m so happy for you! I obviously couldn’t tell at all that you were expecting, but that’s crazy it’s already affecting your work wardrobe. I guess I’ll have to plan all my future children around my clothing budget 🙂

Lauren! did you see that I got some Steve Maddens nude heels for $8 a few weeks ago. I love when that happens on my thrifty sprees. You have given me a grand idea on a post I can do {from your cute styling of this dress and denim}. Thank you.
I think this is a very sweet look! I can’t see a bump yet!
You look radiant and lovely dear! love the outfit and congrats on the ending of 1st trimester. Were you sick any? My first trimesters were awful- especially with my twins (sick all day long/couldn’t eat). Rachel xo
