Nautical-Inspired

I’ve always loved a good nautical stripe, regardless of the season, but once Spring and Summer roll around I really bring them out in full force. Luckily it’s one of those “timeless trends” that never really goes out of style. Sticking with the nautical-inspiration, I couldn’t help but add a little red to the equation. Who doesn’t love a good stripe and polka dot combo?!easy weekend nautical To be honest it almost felt deceitful to post these photos I took last weekend when there is still snow on the ground here in Virginia. But then again, with a 60-degree forecast headed our way, I feel a little less like a fraud! More nautical-inspired days are definitely ahead of me!nautical inspired lookpreppy spring nauticalhow create nautical lookpreppy jcrew stripes polka dotsTop: J.Crew (option, option), Scarf: J.Crew (similar), Jeans: Joe’s Vintage Reserve via Marshalls, Earrings: Honora (option), Shoes: Tory Burch

Question about your TB flats…I received a pair for Christmas and they hurt my feet terribly. Did you have to order up a size or do they just take some serious time to break in?

Haha, yea it is so cold right now! But this weekend it’s supposed to be nice, I can’t wait! 😀
I love how the stripes don’t go all the way to the top, makes it different from the usual

I love nautical stripes too – they’re such a classic! And I love the prints you mixed here.
Don’t feel like a fraud 😉 I took outfit photos this morning in heeled sandals and there is a little bit of snow in the background! haha. It was actually warm when I took the photos at least…
