28 Week Bumpdate

28 weeks pregnant

Holy cow, y’all. I’m officially in the THIRD TRIMESTER! My little munchkin is estimated to be about 2.5 pounds and around 16 inches. Aaron oh so helpfully pulled out the measuring tape last weekend to show me just how large 15 inches was, and honestly the thought of her being that long was kind of alarming. But there is no denying that she’s growing. In fact, I was quite startled at work earlier this week by my very first hearty kick to the ribs.

Baby’s and my weight keeps climbing too. I’m up about 16 pounds total, and thankfully I only put on about a pound this month. (Last month’s 8 pounds was quite the shock, but I guess it all evens out in the end!)

Outside of the daily heartburn, I don’t have much to complain about. Although I think the exhaustion of moving, unpacking, attempting to continue workouts, working my full-time job, and blogging is finally catching up to me. I honestly felt like I was about to hit a wall earlier this week, which was definitely a wake-up call that I need to take a step back. I’ve been so non-stop over the past month, and I can’t keep up this pace. I was so mentally and physically exhausted after baby class on Tuesday night, that I almost burst into tears. I’m still behind on emails and about a million other things, but I am planning on unplugging this weekend and focusing solely on relaxation. I need it!

Oh hunny! I hope you rest up, I don’t know how you do it. I can barely keep up with a full-time job and blogging without a little nugget growing inside me 🙂 I hope you can relax this weekend! 🙂 And you look adorable! I can’t wait until your bundle of joy arrives!
