When it comes to maxi dresses, apparently my mantra is “can’t stop, won’t stop.” And why would I? They’re so comfy. Plus, probably more than half of my collection comes from Marshalls, so you know I’m not breaking the bank here. (This one was under $25!) And another bonus? These non-maternity pieces will still work in my wardrobe post-baby!
Although I typically rock my maxis with flat sandals and undone hair, I decided to come up with a slightly more glam look that would be perfect for a date night or even attending a wedding! Maxis don’t have to stuck in the “casual wear only” box! Do you ever dress your maxis up?

Confession time: these photos were taken a few weeks ago. That baby bump didn’t shrink over night! 😉
Want another versatile maxi that can dress up or down? All my picks are under $50!

What a gorgeous shade on you–it’s perfect!
This looks great on you! I love the color. I don’t do it regularly, but whenever I decide to dress up a maxi I’m always pleasantly surprised.

IS it white or blue? I can’t tell. You look gorgeous. Very Greek, with the long, simple dress.
That maxi is beautiful! I need to go to Marshalls. I love how you glammed it up, too!
I love maxi dresses so much. I agree with you that they are super comfy and that they don’t have to be strictly casual dresses. I sometimes dress my maxis up.

You look gorgeous! So elegant!
I think the color of this maxi really helps it dress up too. It’s hard to go more dressier with a heather gray option. This really is beautiful on you and your hair is so awesome up in a bun.
Aww you look like a little preggers goddess!

Oh wow. That’s one of the most beautiful maxis I’ve seen and perfect color too!!
This dress is incredible on you – dressed up you are so elegant, and being able to wear it now and postpartum is an added bonus. Also, it’s crazy how many so cheap dresses can be had at Marshalls. Best store ever.
