EVERYONE loves a little pampering now and again, am I right? But most of us rarely make the time for it, me included. It has been over two years since I scheduled my last facial and well over a year since I had my last massage. Manis and pedis? Forget about it. It’s probably going on six months or more at this point. (Yea, I know. Embarrassing.)
I know I need to take more time to take care of myself, but often times taking care of everything else (the house, my husband, the dogs, prepping the nursery…) takes precedence. So when I had the opportunity to give the Montagne Jeunesse Renew You Sleep Spa Mask a try, I jumped at the chance. I mean, a mask that allows you to relax for ten minutes and then continues to work all while you sleep sounds like a winner, right? Even the busiest of women could squeeze that little treat into her weekly routine!
I tried the Pure Oils Sleep Spa, a 100% natural bamboo mask, that promised to nourish and quench skin with Argan and Baobab oil. After cleansing my skin, I applied the mask to my face. I must admit, it wasn’t my cutest look. I kind of felt like I was donning a wet scream mask. But it was well worth the goofy look. The mask was cool and refreshing on my skin. The smell was also out of this world!
So did it live up to its promises? I can whole-heartedly say yes. My skin was incredibly smooth and hydrated. I typically have areas of dry skin, but they were gone, leaving a really even complexion. I felt like I looked super-rested too, even though I had only gotten around six hours of sleep that night. I’d definitely call Sleep Spa a MAJOR win. I can’t wait to do my next mask next week!
