Solo time is a pretty hot commodity in my household. During the day, getting a moment for myself is nearly impossible, so I have to take the opportunities to relax and indulge in some me-time when I can.
I haven’t really been good about pampering myself. Most evenings after putting the baby down, cooking dinner, and then working on the laptop for a while, the only thing I want is bed. (And yes, sometimes to my husband’s dismay that is at 8pm.) But I’m trying to turn over a new leaf (with the pampering, not the 8pm bedtime 😉 ). #TreatYoSelf. It’s important dontcha think?!
Over the weekend, I decided to make my favorite place in the house (my bed!) into my own personal retreat. I kicked back for some R&R with a magazine, Netflix, popcorn, and of course, a little chocolate (necessity!).
My latest chocolate obsession is M&M’S® Crispy. Do you remember them from when you were a kid? (Candy coating, chocolate, crispy rice puff center… are you hungry yet?) I loved them back then, and apparently I’m not the only one. They were the number one most requested variety to bring back from 2005-2014! I am so enjoying them now that they’re back, especially since they’re under 200 calories a serving.
My latest Netflix obsession, Vampire Diaries, is almost complete. Let me know what I need to cue up next! I’m in need of a new show! (And yes, apparently teeny-bopper shows are totally appropriate suggestions.)
