Today we’re going to talk about something a little different than normal – underwear! I’m sure most of us have a favorite style that we typically stick to on a daily basis, but do you ever struggle with what to wear when it comes to certain outfits? Well I partnered with Kohl’s to cover it all and talk about the proper undergarments for every occasion!
1. White pants – this one is pretty topical consider the season. White shorts and jeans are BIG, but the last thing you want is to have you pretty printed panties showing through. So for white bottoms of all kinds (skirts, shorts, and pants!), nude colored seamless underwear is the way to go. White still shows through white bottoms, so go with flesh tone! 2. Special Occasion dresses – Wedding season is still in full swing, but these apply any time you may find yourself in an LBD, cocktail, or formal dress! Shapers, ladies. I don’t care what size you are: 0 to 20 and everyone in between. Shapers are life-changing. There is a reason that celebrities rely on them. They smooth out any lumps or bumps, giving a tight, toned appearance. And given their affordability, everyone can have one in their closet for special occasions! This is the one that I have!
3. Mini dresses and skirts – When wearing anything in mini, I always think that full-coverage on the bum is best. Hipsters are my favorite, but boy shorts or your standard bikini are also great options. (Don’t forget that this applies to longer skirts or dresses with flippy hems! You don’t know how many times I’ve had a Marilyn Monroe on a grate moment!)
4. Fitted pants and leggings – With tighter fitting pants like your favorite work pants, comfy yoga pants or leggings, avoid the visible panty line! Even if your booty is covered, you still don’t want any unsightly and frankly uncomfortable bunching! Get a smooth appearance and avoid the dreaded VPL with a thong. These and these are my favorite!
