Plaid and Cheetah Print

I’ll be honest. Until this weekend I just wasn’t feeling the holidays yet. Normally, I’m the all-Christmas-all-the-time kinda gal immediately after Thanksgiving. The tree typically goes up on Black Friday and the Christmas music is in constant rotation. But we had a bit of a rough November, and Aaron’s crazy work schedule left him gone much of the month. It just left me feeling very “blah” and not in the holiday spirit. But this weekend definitely changed that.

Aaron had the entire weekend off and we had a chance to both relax a bit and get in the holiday spirit. We put up the tree, decorated the house, and pulled out the balsam fir candle. I even found myself walking around singing Christmas songs. I guess all is right in the world now. 😉

This faux layered sweater definitely gives me the Christmas vibes. And pairing it with some animal print makes the look a bit elevated. Something about plaid and cheetah print together makes me happy!

I am usually the same way about the holiday. But luckily my husband took some extra days off after Thanksgiving and we really got into the spirit this year. It’s just so much nicer to have time as a family to bond and celebrate the season. Glad you were able to get some time in.

I was feeling the same way this year. Just not too into it. It all feels very rushed and forced. Your look is so pretty and uncomplicated though it is inspiring me. Love the mix of the prints too.
