I’ll be honest: it took me a while to jump on the velvet bandwagon. Seeing all the crushed velvet clothes gave me flashbacks back to my dance days. Having to wear head-to-toe velvet practice outfits with matching scrunchies would leave you scarred too. 😉 But I finally bought in when I found this velvet floral tank. With the pretty floral print and mesh inset, I knew it was a piece I could work with! So for an easy casual look, I put together this velvet cami outfit with a cozy long cardigan.
If you wanted to dress it up a bit, it would look fab with a skirt or a blazer and heels! This velvet cami is currently on sale for under $30 and is available in all sizes! I’d say it fits TTS (I’m in a medium!), and it has a great body-skimming cut!

I know what you mean about the velvet bringing back memories, Lauren!!
I just found a velvet scarf, that I think will work in my life!!
I love your tank because it’s print, and therefore the velvet isn’t in your face as much!!

And I know what you mean, I’m still having a hard time with full on crushed velvet since I did gymnastics. But I’ve always been in love with smooth velvet, so soft and pretty!

It’s funny that you thought of your dance costumes when you thought of velvet, because I did the exact same thing! Haha I’m still having a hard time putting it on myself, but I love it on other people! This one with the flowers on it is so pretty! And you’re a girl after my heart with your leopard print shoes!
