Do you ever find yourself casually perusing your local Nordstrom only to come across what you deem at the moment to be “the cutest thing ever”? And perhaps in your excitement, you decide to share your pure joy with your husband/boyfriend/mom/BFF with a quick call. And then all your excitements gets met with… nada?! Yea that happens pretty much every time I try to share my outfit excitement with my husband. But it was especially true of when I found this wine is my valentine shirt.

I happened across it while I was leaving my hair appointment. (Parking at Nordstrom to get to my salon has its perks. ?) I immediately called my husband, and while I normally expect indifference, this time it seemed like he was a little miffed. Apparently since I’m married, I “already have a Valentine!” Well, yes, hubby. I do. But sometimes you need a little wine, ya know? Or maaaaybe sometimes you just want a stinkin’ cute Valentine’s Day shirt! UGH. (Can you tell I’m working out my frustrations here?! ?) So in case there was really ever any doubt, I have a Valentine. His name is Aaron, and he is very loved. But if I were to chose a beverage to be a Valentine, I would most certainly chose wine. Because wine and chocolate, y’all. They just make sense together. ?

This cheeky little sweatshirt is one of those tops that you just don’t want to take off. It’s a lightweight fabric, and the inside is seriously the softest sweatshirt material you’ve ever felt in you life. There is probably a reason that it’s sold in the pajama and lingerie section. It’s comfy enough to sleep in. And you’ll want to. Trust. Just be prepared to face an angry spouse or significant other. Apparently calling wine your valentine may be threatening to relationships everywhere. You’ve been warned.
