For the past several years, I’ve been a Converse girl. My classic white chucks have been a go-to. But a few months ago, I finally gave in to the Adidas craze and bought these grey suede sneakers. Y’all, I had forgotten how crazy-comfortable Adidas sneakers are! So when I was shopping last week with my husband and found these in Layla’s size, I knew that I’d be buying myself a pair too. ‘Cause mother-daughter Adidas sneakers outfits were happening. 😉
Thankfully this version, which is similar to the Superstars (but with a slightly slimmer profile and soft toe area), is much less expensive. You can get them for under $50, instead of about $80! (The infant/toddler version is equally as affordable under $30!) Win!
For our mommy-daughter look, we wore something that is very everyday typical around our house. I’m all about these cutoff rolled shorts (which also come in the exact same version for non-maternity!!) and tees. And if you’re thinking that this tee looks familiar, it’s because it is! I got it in gray earlier this Spring and loved it so much that I had to have it in white too. (You can see how I wore the gray version here!) Since it’s a bit longer, it still works with my growing bump. And I love the ruffle details. The tiered back is such a fun addition that makes it a bit more special than your average tee!
