I feel like shopping for jean shorts is getting increasingly hard. Is it just me or are they getting shorter and skimpier by the year? (Orrr maybe this is just a sign I’m getting older! ?) Regardless, I found myself struggling this year. But luckily enough, I happened across the best cutoff denim shorts, and I HAD to share them with you!
I actually brought these into the dressing room just to have something to wear with some tops I was trying. (You can actually see them in my dressing room try on session here!) But after wearing them for the entire dressing room session, I was really digging them! I didn’t end up wearing them though for a few weeks because I still wanted to look for another pair that might be a bit cheaper. I checked out American Eagle, Old Navy, Gap, Nordstrom Rack, and Saks Off Fifth. I tried plenty of pairs, but none of them compared to the fit and comfort of these!
What I love about them is the soft denim. They aren’t a stiff denim and are definitely so comfortable. They are also a little bit longer in the back, which is a big plus! I was so surprised how many pairs were super-short in the bootie. But these were not! They are also on-trend with the exposed pockets and light distressing. After wearing them multiple times over the past two weeks I’m completely convinced they earned their title for best cutoff denim shorts!
