It may still officially be Summer, but with start of school on the horizon (I know some of you have already started!), Fall fashion is definitely on the brain. But do you ever wonder how to transition while the weather is still warm? This long cardi and a mini skirt formula is the epitome of my early Fall style. I get to wear several of my new Fall pieces while still incorporating Summer ones. The look is the perfect mix while giving the Fall outfit look.
Even if it’s too warm for jeans and cozy sweaters, you can still achieve Fall vibes by adding in some Fall colors! I’m all about mixing in earthy colors and jewel tones. You can’t go wrong with olive, burgundy, mustard yellow, burnt orange, and shades of tan. Just adding one or two to your outfit can help give the appearance of a Fall look!
But if you don’t have a lot of Fall colors in your wardrobe, why not try some plaid? Roll up the sleeves and wear a plaid top with denim shorts. Or wear it open over a tee!
And I’m a big fan of switching to booties. Ditch your sandals and wear them with shorts, skirts, and dresses. If you can’t stand the thought of wearing you standard booties, try a peep toe style. I have a very similar pair to these and love them!
Lastly, you can’t be afraid to layer! I know it may still be warm, but adding a cardi or throwing on a cargo jacket will instantly change the look of your outfit. If it’s way to hot outside, take off your top layer and tie it around your waist! Once you get back indoors, layer back up!
