Mommy and Me Apple Picking Outfits

When it comes to Fall bucket list activities, apple picking is always at the top of the list for me. We’ve been going every year for the past five years and it never disappoints. I just love heading to Charlottesville, seeing the leaves change on the mountains, and picking apples with my family! Of course we had to snap these mommy and me apple picking outfits while we were there because pics or it didn’t happen, right? Just kidding… Kinda.

This year was by far the most fun yet. I mean, the first year we took Layla she pretty much slept through the entire trip! (#newbornlife) But this year she was really into it! In fact we came home with about nine pounds of apples and Layla picked almost all of them! I had to pick one or two just so I felt like I was participating. I think Aaron got one in! Layla was just on the move! Anytime we turned around she already had another apple in her hand! And she was bold too, climbing all over the orchard!

Thankfully, we all learned from experience and wore boots with tread. Y’all I can’t tell you how many times we’ve gone slipping and sliding through the mud over our past visits! It never fails to be rainy or misty during our visits, so I’m glad we were prepared! If you’re planning a trip soon, remember boots with tread are a game-changer!!
