Y’all, it is officially leggings season. Forget pants. Who needs ’em! I’ve already worn leggings three times in the past five days, so clearly I’m already embracing it! With cold temperatures and Thanksgiving, aka the leggings holiday, coming, the timing couldn’t be more perfect. I recently hit the mall for a little try-on sesh. My goal was simply to find all the best long sweaters for leggings. And I found some really great ones at all price points!

But before we get to the sweaters, let’s talk leggings. I know I’ve mentioned my favs before, but in case you missed it, let’s chat about ’em again. I’ve tried many pairs over the past couple of years, but when I found these by Zella, I quit my search. They’re all I’ve worn over the past year and a half. And now I own three pairs. They’re that good!

Now let’s get to the long sweaters!

I’m not even going to save the best for last! I loved this sweater so much that I forgot to even take a picture of myself in it at the store. It immediately went into the “BUY” pile! It’s super-affordable at $34 and comes in three colors. I’m in a medium!

Turtleneck

Although it looks a little orange-y because of the bright lights, this one is actually red! It’s perfect for the holidays! Of course I couldn’t find it online yet, but I’ll let you know when it’s available!! I’m in a medium.

This long sweater has a cool fuzzy-like texture. It is a little bit thin, so if you live in a cold weather climate, you might want to layer it! I’m in a medium.

If you don’t want to go the plain sweater route, try a dress like this jersey one! Then layer up with a sweater! This cardi is my all-time fav from H&M. It’s a great thickness! I’m in a medium in both. The dress is fitted.

This sweater is a major steal at $20. It comes in four colors, and the fit is oversized. They didn’t have a medium in store, so I tried the large. I actually liked the fit. It’s extra lounge-y! But stay TTS if you don’t want it quite as big. The weight is very light, so it’s not one made for warmth!

This is another $20 option and thicker than the last. It also comes in three colors! I’m in a medium.

Even though this sweater is so similar to the previous gray one, I wanted to try it. It’s a little thicker in weight, which I prefer. But it’s also a little shorter. If you’re worried about length, you could always size up one. It comes in four colors. I’m in a medium.

Another great long cardigan option! This one comes in three colors and is very comfy. I’m in a medium.

For a laid-back vibe, this hooded cardi is a winner! It’s knit like a sweater but has sweatshirt-like pockets. I’m in a medium.

If you want the feeling of a sweatshirt but with all the style, get this! I absolutely love it. It has lace-up details on both sides and runs very large. I’m in a small.

Another great option that comes in five colors. I really love this “mink” color but it also comes in brights like pink and red! I’m in a small.

This is actually a lace-up dress, but it’d also pair perfectly with leggings! The inside is fleece and SO SOFT. It’s an affordable find too under $50. It also comes in pink! I’m in a medium.

This one is another fav. Unlike the sweatshirt version, this one is a true sweater and has the lace-up detailing on one side. It also runs large and comes in four colors. I’m in a small.

Camel and black together is so classic, so I had high hopes for this sweater. In all honesty, I found it a bit thin and slightly itchy. Some of the H&M ones were better quality IMO! I’m in a medium.

If you’re in need of a layering tee for cardis and other sweaters, stock up on these! They are so long and soft! There are six color options, including some stripes. I’m in a large, but I’d recommend staying TTS since they fit oversized.

This sweater dress is so cute. You could easily wear this to work with boots. For the weekend, it’s perfect for leggings! It comes in three colors. I’m in a medium.
