If you follow me on Insta (and specifically stories), you probably saw that I hit up Target earlier this week– right when it opened. Even though I had Layla with me, I was able to take a nice quiet stroll through the clothes. And y’all, I was seriously PUMPED with what I saw. So even though it was completely unplanned and I was wearing leggings, I grabbed a few things and did a quick Target try-on session.

And again, you’ll have to forgive the leggings. I was wearing them sans undies (hope that’s not TMI!), so I definitely wasn’t about to try on any bottoms. Although I’m 100%  sure every sweater and top would’ve looked better with denim, you’ll have to use your imagination this time. 😉

This blush sweater is one of the first things that caught my eye. The color obviously is a fav right now, but it also has a cool texture. It’s not quite an eyelash sweater, but it’s fuzzy if that makes sense. Although I thought I grabbed a medium, I ended up with an extra small. (Someone clearly did a hanger switcheroo on me.) Surprisingly, it wasn’t baby-tee tight. I would have probably gone with a small though for a little extra width. So I’d recommend sizing down one size!

Next up is this chenille sweater. If y’all haven’t jumped on the chenille trend, DO IT. The material is so crazy soft. This sweater comes in four colors, one of which reminds me so much of the sweater I wore in this recent post. Bonus: it’s half the price of the one I own. I’m in a medium.

Both of these pieces just make me happy. First, let’s talk the cardi (because the next photo below is of the tank solo)! It is a DREAM. This is another piece that I swear looks more expensive than it is. My store only had it in a large, so that’s what I tried. I definitely want a medium just because of the width. But how cute are those little bell sleeves?! Cardi is TTS.

This tank is the first piece I knew was coming home with me. Blush pink? Check. Peplum? Check. Velvet? Check. LIFE MADE. This is the kind of piece that will take you from casual days to holiday parties. I’m calling it: you need it. I’m in a medium.

Another chenille sweater and another dupe. Y’all, I just purchased a sweater from Nordies that looks almost identical. And then here this one comes along being just as cute and way less expensive. It also comes in blush pink. I’m in a medium.

The main thing I can say about this velvet tee is OBSESSED. Would ya look at that adorable print? I want to wear this every day front-tucked with jeans and a cardi. It could easily work for the office too! I’m in a medium.

Of course I had to try it with a cardi just for good measure. This chenille cardi is a dream. Honestly I wish it was a bit longer so that I could wear it with leggings, but it is perfect for wearing with denim! It also comes in two other colors!

And here’s that bell sleeve cardi again. I loved it so much I tried it on with this satin cami. These camis, which come in three colors are perfect for Fall and Winter layers. You can easily wear them to work and the weekend. They dress down and up so easily!
