Heeeey! Happy Friday, y’all! What’s better than kicking off the weekend with a little try-on session?! About a week ago, I made a quick run to the mall and couldn’t help but pop into one of my favorite affordable retailers to see some of their new spring goodies. Get excited for these H&M Dressing room reviews! Everything I tried is under $50 and perfect for transitioning your wardrobe to spring. Because isn’t that what’s on everyones’ minds right now?! Let’s get started!
As a reference, I am 5’7″ and currently a size 29/10/Medium. I’ll list all of the sizing details of what I tried on and what my sizing recommendation is underneath each photo. If you have any additional questions, let me know!
I was instantly attracted to the pretty springlike colors in this sweater. It is super lightweight and soft. For some reason it looked a little small to me when I held it up, so I tried it in a large. If you like your sweaters oversized, you could definitely size up, but I’d recommend staying TTS. It would still be wide enough for a relaxed fit.

Next up is this long sweater / sweater dress? I couldn’t find it online, but I’ll update as soon as it becomes available. Y’all know I’ve been living in these long sweaters from H&M, and I thought this might be another great option to wear with leggings. However I will say this: this sweater is quite bulky and heavy. If you’re going to be experiencing freezing temperatures over the next couple months, it might be worth taking a look at. Buuut, if you truly are thinking spring, I’d suggest avoiding this one.

This piece is another that instantly caught my eye. It might even be what brought me in the store, since it was on the manakin directly through the doors! I love the eyelet design and the ruffles are so sweet. I sized up to a 12 in this, partially because I never really know with H&M sizing, but I’d recommend staying TTS. It’s another oversized piece and was pretty wide.

Y’all – this sweater is so fuzzy and soft! It’s the perfect weight for a spring sweater and it comes in seven colors, many of which are so perfect for spring! Think: cream, pale blue, and a bold red! This is another one that I sized up on, but I wish I had stayed TTS. It’s plenty oversized in the midsection and sleeves!

I so wanted to love this long chambray top! It’s made of a super-soft Tencell fabric, which had so much promise! For this piece I envisioned an oversized, loose fit. But even sizing up one size was still fitted. Unfortunately, H&M didn’t have anything larger than a 12, so I left without this one.

Looking for the perfect relaxed spring sweatshirt? I love this one! Fit is boxy, but it’s perfect for a front tuck! And this is one of those pieces you’ll wear into summer with denim shorts!

Of course another one of my favorites isn’t online! ? I’ll be sure to update once it’s available! This dress is such a great relaxed piece that you can wear so many ways! My only warning is that it is very oversized. I’d recommend sizing down! Also, how perfect is this distressed denim jacket?! I tried it on in a 12, but again, I’d recommend staying TTS. The fit is oversized, and I’d like it to be a little closer to the body for pairing with dresses!

And lastly, another blush pink option. To be honest, I didn’t love the fit of this one. It has dolman-type sleeves that attach really low– like almost at your waistline. That combined with the wide sleeves, and I just wasn’t into it. If you want a blush option, I’d 100% go with the off shoulder one above!

What pieces are y’all currently shopping for for spring?!
I love that pink off shoulder number! It’s adorable!
