I love a good trendy, statement-making piece every once in a while, but for the most part I am all about classic basics that can be worn countless ways. However when I found this knotted midi dress, I felt like it was the perfect mix of both! The tie-front waist detail is definitely on-trend. But the classic midi-length is so timeless!
I love the relaxed, easy vibe too. It’s the perfect piece to wear casually. Outside of pairing it with slides, it would look so cute with a pair of sneakers! Or for summer, you could wear it with heeled block sandals! And if you wanted to dress it up a bit, it’d also look so cute for a night out! Can’t you imagine it paired with a moto jacket and heels too? It could easily be a go-to. And it also comes in black!
As far as fit goes, this knotted midi dress is a bit oversized. I was a little concerned by the “slinky” description, but it’s not that show-every-line-and-bump kind of fabric. I actually found it very flattering on! The knot detail is also adjustable should you want the fit to be closer to the body or more relaxed. I’m in a medium.
