If there is one item in my closet that I could never do without, it would have to be a chambray top. Regardless of the season or trends, I always find myself reaching for it. Even during pregnancy my love for chambray is unchanging. I actually find myself relying on it even more since I work with a smaller wardrobe! So, today I’m bringing you three chambray shirt pregnancy outfits all with the same little black dress.
We’ll start with the easiest and most laid-back version. I actually wore nearly this exact outfit often during my pregnancy with Layla. It’s so simple and easy to throw on, even in the summer months! Rolling the sleeves helps you stay cool and leaving it open looks effortless.
For the second version, I just added a belt. When I was working in an office setting, this was one of my simple tricks to dress up a look. Depending on your work environment, chambray might not be an option, but you could easily swap it for a white button down instead. Then add heels or a professional flat, and you’re good to go! I love how a belt adds just a bit of structure. You could go with a skinny version like I did or chunkier one for more of a statement.
Last but certainly not least is the knotted top option! I’ll be honest with ya: this look will probably not work for me at 40 weeks. I just can’t see myself double knotting this top across a full term belly! ? But at 22 weeks, it’s comfortable and cute! To make it work longer, I might try my chambray tunic instead for a little extra length!

All three look great, but the second one is my favourite as I just loved belting over my bumps in pregnancy! 🙂
Thank you for the link up!
Hope you had a wonderful weekend! Our weather wasn’t as bad as predicted so we got to spend some time outside and by the pool which was awesome. 🙂

Three great looks Lauren! I’m a big fan of chambray shirts too, they go with everything. Since the weather warmed up here in the UK I’ve been wearing mine lots. I recently got a simple black jersey sheath dress and I honestly don’t know how I managed without one until now…I thought of you when I put it on because I remember you saying before how versatile they are!

I like the concept of still being stylish and super pretty even when pregnant. This dress looks amazing. I like it when you tweak it with some belt and extra top.
