Yep, I’m officially back on the overalls bandwagon, y’all. After a few years of avoiding them, I recently broke out my regular pair during my first trimester. (You may remember my winter overalls post here!) And when it was clear there was no way I could zipper those babies up anymore, I went on a hunt for the perfect pair of maternity overalls. I actually tried a few pairs (and I’ll be sharing a side-by-side comparison in a blog post soon!) before settling on these. And let me tell ya: they are so stinkin’ comfortable it’s ridiculous.
On the day we flew out to NYC, there was no other pair of pants (hmm… can you call them pants?!) I wanted to wear for the plane ride. I knew once we arrived in the city, we’d be hitting the ground running, so comfort was a priority. And I’m happy to report I made the right choice. They are even comfier than my favorite maternity jeans!
Because of the side panels, there is nothing pulling or restricting your belly at all. It’s just pure comfort. And the denim is very stretchy too. Even after hours of wear, the legs had barely stretched out. I’m telling y’all: if you’re expecting, you neeeeeed these!
Of course I paired them with a striped tee (non-maternity and on sale for $12 BTW!). That seems to be my go-to! Buuut I have plans for you, maternity overalls. (What you don’t speak to your clothes?! ?) I can’t wait to wear them with an off shoulder top or something ruffled and girly for a different vibe. Since they’re pretty lightweight, plan on seeing them a lot through summertime!
And before I wrap up, I feel like I have to shoutout to Brooklyn Bridge Park for these AMAZING views! Aaron and I had never been to Brooklyn before, and we had such fun exploring on our first day! We started at the park, hit up Brooklyn Brewery, and ate a DELISH hole-in-the-wall pizza joint. I’ll be sharing more details of our NYC trip soon, so stay tuned!

You look so cute in your overalls and it’s great that they will grow with your bump so you can continue to wear them through your pregnancy! 🙂 These are lovely photos too. What a nice spot!
Hope you are having a great week so far! It’s been a little rainy here but not too cold so I’m still enjoying wearing shorts, haha! Such a strange autumn!

Loooove those overalls! I still haven’t been able to find a pair like that that isn’t too pricey. :/
Such a gorgeous backdrop! And as many times as I’ve been to NYC I’ve never really done Brooklyn or the bridge. I went one for drinks but it was a quick in and out and it was dark, haha! I’m too scared to subway all the way out there on my own

Nice and perfect looking outfit..
You look so so cute, Lauren! I remember how comfy my maternity overalls were way back in 1996! The only time overalls EVER worked for my body type was during pregnancy, so I wore those babies pretty much nonstop during all of my pregnancies! No waistband= WIN! 🙂
An outstanding share! I have just forwarded this onto a co-worker
who was doing a little homework on this. And he in fact ordered me breakfast due to the fact that I discovered it for
him… lol. So let me reword this…. Thank YOU for the meal!!
But yeah, thanx for spending some time to talk
about this matter here on your web page.
