I gotta be honest: I love a wedding. There is just something so sweet about being surrounded by all that love and hope for the future. (And yes, if you haven’t caught on, I’m totally one of those sappy people who tears up at others’ wedding vows. #guilty) But over the last year, I’ve been pregnant for both of the weddings we’ve attended, and that definitely threw a wrench in it for me! And no, I’m not talking about the open bar, people! (Although not having a drink or two does kinda stink.) What’s even more difficult is the maternity wedding guest style situation!

When it comes to finding a beautiful ocassion dress for pregnancy, I have struggled. Although maternity style in general has come a long way, there is still a major shortage of maternity wedding guest dresses out there, especially if you want something a little more on-trend! So, since wedding season is officially upon us, I’m bringing you some of my favorite maternity special ocassion dresses! Whether your headed to a wedding or another upscale affair, I got you covered, ladies!!

First, let’s chat about this dress that I wore to the previous two weddings I attended! It’s from the brand Chi Chi London, and although it’s now sold out, I had to share where I ordered it from! For special ocassion dresses, I found the best (and most!) options from ASOS. They are my top recommendation for anyone expecting! What I love about ASOS is that they have dresses at a variety of price points and styles. They even have bridesmaids options if you need them!

Other stores I’d recommend checking out are A Pea in the Pod and Motherhood Maternity. Although I found a couple at Nordstrom, I actually wasn’t impressed with their maternity selection!
