Real talk: over the past seven days, I’ve worn leggings four of them. And my faux leather ones are the ones I reach for the most. Not only are they the most flattering leggings I’ve ever owned, I also love that they can be dressed both up and down! And if you’re thinking you can only wear them casually, these four Spanx leather leggings outfits for winter will change your mind! From the weekend to date night, these looks are perfect for so many occasions.

For these looks, I switched it up a bit and used my faux leather moto leggings! If you’re interested in more leggings looks, you won’t want to miss my Over 20 Spanx Leather Leggings Outfits post!
As far as sizing goes, I recommend sizing up one in all Spanx faux leather leggings. Although they fit TTS, they are a true compression-style legging and are a bit more comfortable when sizing up! I own pairs in both a medium (my true size) and a large (one size up), and prefer the fit of the large!
1. Comfy Casual Leather Leggings Outfit
For everyday, comfy casual outfits are my go-to! Give me a cozy sweater, leggings, and sneakers any day! Tunic length tops like this one are perfect for leggings. This particular one comes in several colors. I love the raw hem detail and oversized fit. Be sure to size down one. I’m in the small!
And for cardigans, I always opt for long ones when it comes to leggings outfits. This exact one is several years old, but any duster cardigan will do! Bonus points if it’s thicker like this one for cold days!

2. Business Casual Leggings Outfit
So when I say business casual, I realize that leggings aren’t really appropriate in a lot of business settings! But if you want a look that is a bit more polished, this combination is perfect.
One of my wardrobe must-haves is a long chambray tunic to wear with leggings. For everyday I typically throw on sneakers and a cardigan! But by wearing a long sweater vest and flats, the outfit appears dressier. You could also opt for a heel here or even a heeled boot!

3. Dressy Casual Leggings Outfit
For instant chic, just add a wrap! I love wearing them over dresses, tees, and sweaters, but one of my favorite looks is paired with a super-classic solid turtleneck. With a completely monochromatic backdrop, the wrap becomes a fun statement. Don’t have a black turtleneck? I highly recommend this one (that I also have in the stripe version)! But any black tunic-length top or sweater will do! And if you don’t have a wrap, you can also always wrap a blanket scarf around your shoulders for a similar look!

4. Date Night Leggings Outfit
Y’all, Aaron and I have actually been on two date nights this month! (Say whaaaat?) Before that, it had been months and months. But I took the opportunity to dress up– at least a little bit! For this look, I love the combination of cozy and dressy. The heels take the look up a notch and are a fun statement since they are leopard! (But any pump would do!) But the sweater is oversized and cozy. It’s the perfect mix for a winter dinner date.
