Amazon Fashion Try On
As far as sizing goes, I’m 5’7 1/2″ with a short torso and very long legs! I typically wear a 28/29 in jeans or a size 8. My bra size is a 36C, and I typically wear a size medium (or 8) top. When it comes to ordering Amazon, sizing can vary! I always try to check out the sizing charts and previous reviews when ordering, but I’ll give you my own sizing recommendations as well for each piece.
If you ever have any question about what size I’m wearing, check the links below each image! I list my size and any recommendations I have for sizing up or down for quick reference. For full details, I’ll be chatting all about quality, style, and fit in the paragraphs above each photo. Let’s go!
I love the style, material, and quality of this one. It is a halter style with a thinner strap that just goes over the shoulder. I like the higher neck and pleating at the top! It’s made of tencel, which is a very lightweight fabric that you’ll see a lot of light denim tops and dresses made out of. And it comes in several colors: black, light denim, medium blue denim, blush pink, and navy blue. It’s so affordable at $30, but I could see this retailing for well over $50 at department stores!
I really wanted this one to work for me. In fact, I wore it around the house for a few minutes and kept walking by the mirror to see if my opinion had somehow changed. ?But when it came down it, I just didn’t find it as flattering on me as some of the others. I wish the drawstring waist hit me more at the natural waist instead of an inch below. I think that would have 100% changed how I felt about the fit on me! Fit is TTS but perhaps a little too short length-wise. I’m in an 8.
You know how much I loved the first one? Well, then I put this one on and decided it was my new favorite. ?The fabric is exactly the same as the previous one. It’s that light tencel material that my fav chambray tops and dresses are made out of! It also comes in the same color options: black, light denim, medium blue denim, blush pink, and navy blue. The v-neck wrap top is super-flattering, and there is a button closure at the bust, that makes it nursing-friendly! It has an elastic waistband and a removable wider belt.
The waist line of this one also hit me slightly below the natural waist, but it was just all-around more flattering. I also like that this one can come off a little dressier than the last one. It could easily be dressed up or down, depending on how you accessorize! I ended up keeping this one, and I love it. The quality is so good and so is the price-point ($32!!)! Fit is TTS. I’m in an 8.
The style of this one is so, so similar to the last! It also has the short sleeve, the wrap top detail and button closure, and the tie waist. The main difference is the fabric and the fit. It may be a little difficult to see but the sleeve has a slight flutter to it! It’s very flattering on the arm and is a pretty, subtle detail. The material (100% polyester) lends a more dressy look. You could absolutely wear this casually, but it definitely feels dressier than the last one!
I ordered a size up (a large), but I think I would have been fine sticking with a medium. Fit is relaxed and flowy! I would stay with your true size!
I love a good bow detail, so this style caught my eye! It has a halter top with a higher neck, an elastic waist, and two fabric panels that tie in the front. The main downside is that the panels are rather large and not removable. They also don’t fully cover the elastic when knotted, which I didn’t love. They would really need to be placed about an inch lower to cover up the elastic waist! The material is a rayon, spandex, polyester blend that feels like a heavier weight t-shirt material. It’s very soft and comfortable! I sized up one and like the relaxed fit.
Y’all know I had to try the ruffles, right?! The fabric of this one is so soft and it’s also very light. The bow at the waist is purely decorative. The waist line is actually just elastic. It also comes in olive green, navy, a medium blue and cranberry! The only downside for me is that the neckline is sewn shut. For nursing moms, you’ll have to take the entire shoulder down, which I’ll admit sounds worse than it is! The material is very stretchy and easy to take off and on. Fits TTS. I’m in a medium.
If comfort is your jam, this romper is a W-I-N. I also kept this one and have worn it multiple times (seriously more than once a week) since it came in the mail. The fabric is a lightweight terry cloth that feels like straight up heaven. Y’all, I have worn this as loungewear, I wore it to the splash pad with my girls, and I wore it out shopping at Target. It’s pretty much all I even want to wear right now. It has pockets and I love the ribbon-like drawstring waist. The quality and feel reminds me so much of Lou and Grey, but it is under $30! It also comes in olive green, navy, and black. I’m tellin’ ya. You seriously won’t regret this purchase. Fit is relaxed. I’m in a medium and like the comfy fit!
Now onto my Prime Day purchases! This one was a lightning deal, and when I saw the the reviews (over 600 4.5 star reviews!), I figured I couldn’t go wrong. The price is so good– under $25, and it comes in over 20 color and style options! Some of them are long-sleeved if you’re looking for more of a fall-to-winter option! The only downside is that the buttons are not functional. But I still love the look of the dress and the comfort! I sized up to a large but I wish I would have stayed with a medium. It does fit relaxed and has a ton of stretch. This could work as a maternity option through your entire pregnancy!
The only Levi’s jeans I owned previously were the 100% cotton ones. And while I liked them, they also weren’t always the most comfortable. But my sister promised these were her all-time fav jeans, so I snagged them on lightning deal during Prime Day! Levi’s tend to run a little small on me, so I sized up one to a 30 and was so pleasantly surprised when these came in. They have some stretch (not too much) and are so flattering on! I love the high waist. (They come all the way up to my belly button.) The length is slightly cropped on me, but they aren’t too short. Also the price is so good for a pair of nice denim! They are under $70 and also come in three other washes. I have since purchased the light wash (“Blue Spice”) pair!
Back when I shared this Nordstrom cardigan during the Anniversary Sale, it was one of your favorites! But it sold out so stinkin’ fast! So, I went on a hunt for an alternative and found one so similar on Amazon! And the bonus is the price is a fraction of the Nordies version!
The main difference is the fabric. The Nordstrom version almost feels plushy. The Amazon is not at all itchy but not nearly as soft. The weave is also bigger. The buttons on the Amazon version are more of a tortoise while the Nordstrom ones are black. Also, the Amazon one has pockets and a looser fit. I sized down in both and like the look and fit.
Overall, for the price I don’t think you can go wrong with the Amazon version! The look is so so similar, and for a trendy piece, I definitely don’t like going to spendy! The Amazon also comes in several other color options as well!
