With the sale finally going live to everyone (with or without a Nordstrom Card!), I wanted to share with y’all a few more picks in my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Try On Part 2! If you have seen my first post, you’ll definitely want to check that one too! By far, my in-store try on is the most comprehensive! But I did place a few online orders for items that I’ll share with you here! And since my sister is home for the summer, she’s going to share the items she purchased as well!
Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Try On Part 2
As far as sizing goes, I’m 5’7 1/2″ with a short torso and very long legs! I typically wear a 28/29 in jeans or a size 8. My bra size is a 36C, and I typically wear a size medium (or 8) top.
If you ever have any question about what size I’m wearing, check the links below each image! I list my size and any recommendations I have for sizing up or down for quick reference. For full details, I’ll be chatting all about quality, style, and fit in the paragraphs above each photo. Let’s go!
This graphic tee was one of the things that immediately caught my eye when browsing online! You might even remember it from my initial pre-sale top picks post! Unfortunately they didn’t have it in my store, but I was able to snag it online. The fit is wide and cropped. It’s best paired with high waisted shorts, jeans, and skirts! The color is an orange-y red, and the bottom is a raw edge that slightly rolls. It’s also a very lightweight cotton that can be worn now and later! The same designer also has a “Go Your Own Way” embroidered tee and a coffee tee!
These jeans are the same ones you heard me rave about in my first Nsale try-on! They are such an amazing quality for the price (under $50!)! Size up one!
I am all about a comfy shirt dress, so I knew this would be a winner! It’s a light sweatshirt material, but don’t let the name sweatshirt make you think you can’t wear it now. It does not have that fleece-y layer inside, making it comfortable to wear now and well into fall. It also comes in a black and white stripe and a star print option. Size down! I’m wearing a small and it is still plenty relaxed in fit.
You probably recognize this cardigan from my first try-on. My store only had it in a medium and large, so I ordered a small online. I like the fit so much better. It still has the drop shoulder, drapey fit, and room in the arms. I’d suggest sizing down one. It also comes in solids.
These jeans were also from my first try-on, but I have to call them out again. I’ve been wearing them now for a couple of days and I love them. The denim is so soft and lightweight. They also hold their shape so well. It’s more of a mid-rise but still comfortable. I’d suggest sizing down, especially if you’re in between sizes. I’m in a 28.
This cardigan was the very first thing that I ordered the moment the sale went live online! I love how the base is more of an oatmeal color with black spots. It’s a thicker, heavier-weight sweater that’s best for cooler weather. Fit is also oversized with this cardigan. I sized down to a small and like the fit.
Since my sister is home for the summer from college, I asked her to share a few of her favorite items that she ordered as well! Size-wise, Morgan is 5’5″ and typically wears a 4 or 27 or a small to a medium.
These sweatpants were one of Morgan’s favorite items! She loved them so much that she also bought them in the gray too! They’re high-waisted (right below the belly button) and come to the ankle on her. They’re also fleece-y on the inside! Fit is TTS. She’s wearing a size small.
As a college athlete, Morgan spends a lot of time at the gym! And these shorts are her all-time fav short. She owns several pairs and was pumped to see them included in the sale! They sit mid-rise and are light and comfortable. They fit TTS. Morgan’s in a small!
How precious are these short Hunter boots?! After Morgan ordered them, I ordered them for myself! They’re a faded black color and matte. Morgan mentioned that they were a little snug the first couple of times she put them on, but they loosened up. They also fit closer at the ankle, which prevents water from getting in. They also are lighter weight than the knee high version but still have a nice thick tread.
Since Morgan is in school in West Virginia, she needed a heavier coat. This one feels super lightweight but is so warm! (She was seriously sweating after wearing it for a few minutes. ?) It’s packable, water resistant, and has a hood! Fit is a bit more closer to the body. Morgan sized up to a medium in order to wear it with bulkier layers! It also comes in white and a light gray.
Morgan was searching for a pair of platform sneakers and ordered these Converse! They have rose gold eyelets and posts on the laces. They are a great updated basic if you’re looking for a more on-trend sneaker! Fit is on the larger side. Morgan suggests ordering half a size down. You’ll be able to wear these all year long!
I was pumped to take advantage of some beauty deals this year! And y’all they are good. I love all three items I purchased and would purchase them all over again.
If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that Purity Made Simple is my fav cleanser. I’ve been using it for years and years. It has a creamy consistency and is so gentle on the skin. The cost of the 32 oz. bottle alone is $55! And in this set you get the 32 oz bottle, an 8 oz. bottle, and a travel size Microdelivery exfoliating wash! It is such a great deal.
Laura Mercier loose powder is a cult favorite that I’ve been wanting to try it for years. I took advantage of this kit and am so glad I did. The foundation primer is one that I’ve purchased, used before, and loved. You also get the illuminating powder and translucent powder. I used the illuminating one to set my under eye concealer and am so impressed! I completely understand why it’s a fav!
And lastly another cult fav — Charlotte Tilbury! I’ve owned the Pillowtalk liner for a while now, and I always loved it. It just glides on smoothly and has great staying power. But I’ve been wanting to try the lipstick! This set has it all– liner, lipstick, and gloss. I would 100% buy each one of them individually. But I’ve got to tell ya, I’m in love with the gloss! It’s so creamy, light, and hydrating! I love that it’s not sticky. It looks beautiful on its own, over the Pillowtalk lipstick, and over other lipsticks! Individually, the items would add up to $78! Scroll down to see it on me!
I’m wearing the Laura Mercier powders (illuminating under my eyes and translucent everywhere else!) and all three CT products. This nude pink is such a flattering color! I had both my mom and sister try it too! Scroll down to see it on all three of us!
How pretty is this color?! We’re all in love!!
