Y’all, get excited! It had been a few months since I browsed the women’s clothing section of Walmart in-store. (You can catch my last Walmart try-on here!) But I feel like I struck gold this time! I found so many cute, on-trend, versatile pieces that I think y’all are going to love. I’ve got some great casual pieces, some wear-to-work items, and a pair of mules y’all are going to flip for! And of course, everything is super-affordable. Let’s get fall-ready with my September Walmart women’s clothing try on!

Walmart Women’s Clothing Try On

As far as sizing goes, I’m 5’7 1/2″ with a short torso and very long legs! I typically wear a 28/29 in jeans or a size 8. My bra size is a 36C, and I typically wear a size medium (or 8) top.

Short Sleeve Ruffle Top 

A perfect mix of femininity and boho, this top is a versatile one I could see myself wearing over and over. It does have a wider fit but I’d recommend sticking with your true size to keep the relaxed fit. It also comes in navy blue and a lighter blue. I’d wear it now just like this or with a pair of sneakers for everyday! You could also wear it with booties and a cargo jacket for fall. I think it’d also be adorable with a moto jacket! I did think the white was a little sheer, but the darker colors are not!

Snakeskin Mules 

Y’all, these mules look seriously high end! They even have memory foam cushion in them, making them so comfortable to wear for longer periods of time. I appreciate the block heel (’cause mama isn’t into heels, y’all ?)! They also come in a solid black! My typical size 9 was sold out when I ordered them, so I tried the 10. They ended up being too big. I’d recommend sticking with your true size. 

Mules (TTS) 

Ruffle Plaid Tank 

For those of us, still struggling with hot temperatures, this is the perfect plaid top! You still get the plaid look with a tank style! I love the ruffles the shoulders. It reminds me so much of something you’d expect to see at J.Crew. Of course this one is a fraction of the price–under $15! The buttons are functional. It also comes in an orange version. I’m wearing a medium. It fits a little oversized, but stay with your true size.

Cowl Neck Sweater Tank 

This is a wonderful work to weekend piece for those of y’all working in office settings. You could layer it with a jacket and a skirt or dress pants for the office. For the weekend, I’d wear it just like this with jeans or even tucked into a denim skirt with booties! It’d also layer up nicely with a moto jacket for later fall. It comes in six colors and fits true to size. I’m in a medium.

Stripe Tee 

These thinner stripes are so on-trend! They’re also the perfect fall colors! It has more of a fitted style, making it a great option to tuck into denim, skirts, or wide leg pants! I’m wearing a medium. I’d stick with your true size!

Stripe Tee + Wide Leg Pants 

It just so happened that the stripe tee matched perfectly with these wide leg pants. And the perfect fall outfit was born. ?You could wear this with mules, sneakers, or even booties! I’d also layer it up with a denim jacket!

The wide leg pants are super-comfortable, and I love the paper bag waist. It’s an elastic waist with a sewn-on bow. The pockets lay nice and flat, which is a must! They also come in three other colors, including classic black! I’d recommend sizing down one size. I’m wearing a small.

Tee + Wide Leg Pants 

This is another way I’d wear these wide leg pants! I just threw on a classic v-neck tee and tucked it in. This one comes in six other colors and is under $5! Such a great deal for a tee! I’m wearing a small but I’d suggest sticking with your true size. I’d prefer a medium! (And I probably also should have done a better job tucking it in. Amateur move, Lauren.)

V-neck Dolman Sweater 

When I saw this sweater on the hanger, I knew it’d be the perfect drapey sweater! I sized down to the small, but you could stick with your true size for even more of an oversized fit. I’d wear it slightly off the shoulder with a pretty bralette. (So just imagine that ugly nursing bra strap was a something a little more dainty. ?) It also comes in gray. The material is very lightweight, making it a great transitional option.

Tiered Button-front Top 

Ok, y’all. This top is the WINNER. I say that because I bought an identical top from Madewell last year that I absolutely loved. I wore mine most often with black denim. It also layers up so nicely! You can see me wear it beneath a sweater below, but I also wore it under all my fall jackets! It’s seriously a steal under $20, and it also comes in white, yellow, and purple. I ended up taking home the white version since I already own a chambray! I’d suggest sizing down one. I’m in a small.

Tiered Button-front Top + Cardigan 

I’ve been searching every day, but this cardigan is not available online. UGH! But it’s such a cute one in-person. It has an open stitch design, which is great for early fall. It also comes in several other colors. I’ll cross my fingers that some of y’all are able to locate it in store! I’ll update you if it comes available online! I’m wearing a small. It fits true to size, but you can size down for a more fitted look!
