With the holidays around the corner, Madewell released a whole slew of new holiday-ready styles. And y’all know I ran to the mall quicker than you can say skinny jeans. ? Get ready for the best new sweaters, dresses, and yes, party options in my Madewell try on November! This is one of my fav round of Madewell finds yet!
Madewell Try On November
Whether you’re just looking for a cute sweater to add to your wardrobe or a holiday party look, I hope y’all love these finds! There are so many goodies you can wear now through the rest of winter!
My sizing
For reference, I’m 5’7 1/2″ with a short torso and very long legs! I typically wear a 28/29 in jeans or a size 8. (For Madewell, I tend towards a 28!) My bra size is a 36C, and I typically wear a size medium (or 8) top.

Ruffle Top
The details on this top are just so good! Of course I love the ruffle! And it’s a little difficult to tell, but the fabric also has a subtle plaid! The sleeve is also blouse-y. It also comes in a beautiful burgundy color! This is the type of top you can wear everyday with jeans or even layered under overalls! But you can also make it as dressy as you’d like! I’d pair it with velvet pants (there is pair further down in this post! ?) or a slim fitting dress pant and heels! You could also pair it with a skirt!

Metallic Dot Top
When I saw this top on the hanger, I felt pretty lukewarm about it. It was really the metallic dots that convinced me to even take it into the dressing room. But once I had it on, my opinion completely changed! The way it drapes is just so beautiful! It is slightly gathered along the bust and floats away from the body. It’s perfect to tuck into jeans, a skirt, dress pants, whatever!! It is not itchy at all. I’m in a medium, and I would size down.

Plaid Peasant Top
This top ended up coming home with me! It’s a deep green and black plaid that is slightly puckered! It has balloon sleeves and is button-front, which makes it a great nursing-friendly option. The shoulder is just ever-so-slightly puffed as well. I sized down to the small, and the fit is still oversized!

Ruffle Neck Top
I find myself drawn to the Texture & Thread line every time I’m at Madewell! I just love a top with interesting texture to it! It also has a lettuce ruffle at the neckline and on the sleeves! The neckline also has elastic that creates a little gathering. It comes in three other solid colors! It fits true to size! I’m in a medium.

Bubble Sleeve Cardigan
Here is another Texture & Thread option that has a subtle ribbed texture. I love the bubble sleeves and the button-front makes it nursing-friendly! Fit is oversized. I’m in a medium in the left photo and in a small and on the right! The medium felt a little to wide on me, so I prefer the size down! It also comes in black.

Mockneck Sweater Dress
Y’all have probably figured out by now that I love a good sweater dress! They are just so versatile to dress up with heels and tights or down with flats, booties or over the knee boots. This one is grey with black speckles. It also comes in a black with red speckles! I’m in large, but I’d recommend sticking with your true size.

Floral Maxi Dress
Oh, y’all. This dress is just gorgeous! It has a sheer top layer with a black slip dress underneath. There are also ruffle tiers and bow details on the sleeves. The flow is just beautiful and so is the floral print! What I love about this dress is that it not only works for the holidays but it can also take you straight through spring! I’m in a medium. It fits TTS.

Textured Pullover Sweater + Polka Dot Pull-on Pants
Another fav, y’all! This sweater is just so beautiful. The details and the texture are what makes it! I ended up taking it home with me! It has a relaxed fit, but the medium is perfect. Of course I love this red, but it also comes in green, cream, and gold!
And the pants, y’all! How fun are they?! They are a jacquard material with satin polka dots! They have a flat front and elastic back waistline! The fit is relaxed with wide legs. And of course they are super-comfortable! I would wear them just like this for a more casual holiday look or swap for heels to dress them up!

Turtleneck Sweater + Windowpane Mini Skirt
If you’re looking for a lighter weight sweater, this one is a great basic. It has a wider rib knit with a slim fit. I’m in a medium. It fits TTS and comes in five other colors.
And let’s chat this skirt! It is a wool blend but is fully-lined, which keeps it comfortable! Although it’s hard to tell, there are two mini pockets in front too! It doesn’t have any stretch, so I would suggest sticking with your true size. I’m in an 8. I would wear this just like I am here with a sweater and flats. But you could also dress it up with heels! For everyday you could also pair it with tights and booties or over the knee boots.

Turtleneck Sweater + Velvet Pull-on Pants
Another find that I absolutely love! I wish I had a fun ocassion to wear these pants! They have a button-front but the back is elastic! Y’all know I love that. ? They also have pockets and pleated in the front. The leg is more of a tapered straight-leg style. You can wear these with heels, flats, or even higher booties!

Cat Polka Dot Cropped Tee
I initially picked this tee up because of the large polka dot print! And once I had it on, I realized there were little cats mixed in there too! How cute is that?! I own a couple of these cropped tees and love them. They are a heavier weight cotton that stay more structured than drapey.
