I love a jumpsuit. Who is with me?! But I often find myself wearing them the same exact way! So, for today’s style session, I was so excited to get creative and come up with some new ideas! These five jumpsuit outfits will have you rethinking jumpsuits. There are so many fun ways to wear them and mix up your spring and summer outfits!
Five Jumpsuit Outfits
Since I work from home and spend most of my days with the kids, these five jumpsuit outfits are more on the casual side! But be sure to read the descriptions as I share additional outfit ideas and ways to make each look your own!
The exact jumpsuit I’m styling is an affordable Old Navy find! I shared it in my spring Old Navy try on, and I just adore it! It’s a linen-blend and so light and comfortable! The buttons are not functional but I’d still call it nursing-friendly because of the adjustable spaghetti shoulder straps. The back is shirred and it has pockets! I ended up ordering the medium tall, and I love the length! Keep in mind that I’m 5’7.5″ with all of my height in my legs. I’d suggest the tall for ladies 5’9″+!
Jumpsuit + Denim Jacket Outfit
This outfit is my typical go-to combination. You can’t beat a classic denim jacket over a jumpsuit! If you’re looking to mix it up with your jacket, you could swap for a utility jacket. Another fun swap would be a blazer. With a blazer and heels, I could see this jumpsuit work for a business casual outfit. A white denim jacket would be another cute swap!

White Button Down + Jumpsuit Outfit
A super-easy and classic way to wear a jumpsuit is layered with a white button down! Really any button down would work– a printed one, solid color, or chambray! I love my short sleeve button down because it is so versatile regardless of the season! It’s easy to wear during the warmest months through winter when layered.
I simply unbuttoned the bottom button, tucked the back underneath and knotted right at the seam at the waist. Once it’s knotted, adjust the tuck until it looks the way you’d like!

Tee Layered Underneath a Jumpsuit Outfit
This is probably my favorite of all of the five jumpsuit outfits! It’s a look I’ve seen other ladies pull off but I’ve never tried it myself. But, I’m convinced!! Even though this jumpsuit has a more fitted bodice, it still works! I would just recommend layering with a slim-cut tee. The benefit of layering a tee underneath is that bathroom breaks are much easier than when layering a tee over! Buuuut, that doesn’t stop me from wearing jumpsuits the other way too. Scroll down to see that look! ?

Knotted Tee over Jumpsuit Outfit
Another one of my top favorites is this graphic tee layered look! When knotted, it gives the appearance of a top and wide leg pants. Similarly to the button down look, I recommend tucking the tee under first, right at the seam line. Then pull the excess either to the side or the center, wherever you’d like the knot to be. Then pull, wrap around and knot! I always make sure to check the tuck and smooth out any bulges in my shirt. If you don’t want to knot it, you can always secure with a clear elastic too! For a more layered look, you could also add a denim jacket on top!

Chambray Button Down Jumpsuit Outfit
This chambray button down look is another variation of the white button down outfit idea! The sleeveless cut gives it more of a laid-back summery vibe that I love! I follow the same tucking and tying technique with this top! The button hits directly at the waistline, so I ended up knotting just a tiny bit below the waist seam!
This outfit would work with whatever chambray top you have in your wardrobe. For long sleeve tops, I would bring the sleeve up to elbow length and roll!
