July Amazon Fashion Finds
I’m one of those people who favors dresses during the summer. I love a good pair of shorts too, but sometimes even my favorite shorts feel too restricting! So get ready for lots of fun dress options! But I know not everyone is a dress person, so I also thew in some other finds y’all are going to love!
For reference, I’m 5’7 1/2″ with a short torso and very long legs! I typically wear a 28/29 in jeans or a size 8. My bra size is a 36C, and I typically wear a size medium (or 8) top.
If you ever have any question about what size I’m wearing, check the links below each image! I list any recommendations I have for sizing up or down for quick reference. (TTS= true to size!) For full details, I’ll be chatting all about quality, style, and fit in the paragraphs above each photo. Let’s go!
If you’re looking for a super-lightweight summer tee, this linen-model blend tee is such a great option! Up close you can see the linen-texture and I love that the material isn’t itchy or uncomfortable. It’s a classic crewneck but I love the ruffle sleeve detail! Fit is relaxed but true to size. It comes in six color options, including the classics along with the most beautiful poppy red.
If you’re looking for a denim short alternative, these soft shorts are such a cute option! The ones I’m wearing a navy and white plaid, but they also come in two solids. They have plenty of flow to them, which I love! The waistband is elastic with a drawstring detail. The only downside is no pockets. Fit is pretty relaxed and on the longer side. I would suggest sizing down if you’re on the more petite side!
Y’all, I resisted buying these for so many months. But when I saw them back fully stocked on Amazon, I jumped on it. They are so gorgeous in person. The quality is wonderful and so are the details. I love the smaller studs that go around the edge of the sandals! I went with the tan color, which blends in with my skin tone. But there is also a clear pair that would give the same look no matter your skin tone. I sized up 1/2 and like the fit!
Sandals (size up 1/2)
If I’m not wearing a tee with my denim shorts, I often opt for a simple cami! So this button-front cami is right up my alley! The buttons are functional and are fabric-covered so they blend in seamlessly with the top. Fit is relaxed but TTS. It comes in six other color ways, including leopard print!
And speaking of leopard print… ? Y’all know I’m all about a great t-shirt dress! It comes is seven solid colors and prints, including a stripe! Length is good, and I love the slightly relaxed fit. Dress is 100% cotton and so comfy! This type of dress is crazy-versatile! Here are my four no-fail tshirt dress outfit formulas!
I love this dress, y’all! It’s my favorite of all of the options I ordered! It’s a linen-cotton blend that is light and breathable. I love the mini ruffle sleeve! There is a zipper closure up the back. The bust is fitted with an a-line cut. Also– pockets! ?? Fit is true to size but I would recommend sizing up one if you have a larger bust since there is no stretch.
Last summer I bought Daily Ritual’s romper version, so when I saw it in jumpsuit form I wanted to try it! It is just as good as my beloved romper! It’s made of the same terry fabric, which is perfect for summer. This one has wide tank straps, an elastic waistband with ribbon-style drawstring, and jogger-style elastic legs. There are pockets too! It comes in six other color ways. Fit is relaxed but TTS.
When I filmed the video for this try-on I made the joke that this dress is my Britney Spears “Oops I did it again” moment. And nothing could be more accurate. ? I already own the solid black version (that I styled SEVEN ways here!), a navy and white stripe option, and now this tie dye. It’s lightweight, it’s comfortable, and it’s versatile. So, yes, I have no regrets buying it three times. Fit is relaxed but TTS. I’m in a medium. It also comes in twenty color ways, so plenty of options for ya!
Another beautiful floral print option! This one has adjustable spaghetti straps with a straight neckline. The bodice is fitted with a zip back that also has a shirred panel. It’s fitted to the waist and then flowy through the skirt. I adore the length on this one. It’s hard for me to find maxi dresses that have this much length but this one does! Keep in mind that it may be hitting the floor for my more petite ladies! Fit is TTS.
Y’all know that cozy Lou and Grey fabric that I love? This dress feels like a lighter weight version of that. It is so comfy and soft! The neckline is more of a boatneck style with twists at the straps. The only downside is the cling-factor. It really clings, especially in the hips/tummy area. Because of that, I’d see this more as a comfy at-home piece for me personally.
You might remember this print from the button-front cami. It’s exactly the same! But I can’t help but love wearing red in the summertime! It does also come in several other color ways too. This dress has the same fabric-covered button-front detail. They’re functional here too, making it a great nursing-friendly option. I love the relaxed flutter sleeves and relaxed fit through the body. Fit is TTS!
I really wanted to love this but ultimately it was a disappointment! I also didn’t share, but I figured sharing the misses is just as important as the wins! The fabric is what really was the killer for me. It feels like… a microfiber cloth or something? I don’t know. But it’s not breathable at all, feels heavy on, and just didn’t seem like good quality. As cute as it looks, I give this one a thumbs down. Shorts fit a little on the small side but top is oversized in fit.
