Fall Abercrombie Try On

After being on a pretty big shopping hiatus, I’ve found myself placing orders left and right for all the fall things. And in truth, I haven’t been that excited about much. But let me tell ya: this Fall Abercrombie try on blew me away. I am not kidding when I say that I could have kept each and every item I ordered. It’s that good.

Fall Abercrombie Try On

It had been a while since I ordered anything from Abercrombie, so I was eager to try a lot of different items. One thing that topped my wish list was a pair of jeans. I hadn’t ordered their jeans in a few years and as a self-proclaimed jeans-a-holic, I needed to know about their current styles! I also ordered a few different styles of bottoms for those of you not ready for denim. 😉 I hope you love everything as much I as do. It’s been a long time since I’ve been this excited to share a try on!

Seamless Bodysuit + High Waist Joggers

I’d heard some good things about this bodysuit, so I wanted to try it for myself. Y’all, it lives up to the hype! The material is super-soft, stretchy, and body-smoothing. It almost holds you in without being tight or compressive. The bottom is a thong-style and there are snap closures. It comes in six color ways with plenty of basic options. I’m about to order it in brown because I loooove it. Fit is true to size (TTS).

These joggers were another item I was super-excited to try. I love that Abercrombie offers different lengths in all of their pants. I was actually able to get a pair of joggers long enough for my legs!! Almost every pair I try is too cropped, but these fit perfectly! The elastic waist has a little bit of a ruffle, which is such a cute detail. I’m wearing the medium tall and think they run slightly on the small side. There is zero stretch to them, so I’d suggest sizing up if in between. (Also size up if you want the look of the model. They don’t have an oversized fit like they’re pictured on the website!) Otherwise stick TTS.

Of course, I couldn’t help but style them with some of my other Abercrombie favorites!!

Here are three ways to wear the joggers!

Boatneck Sweater

A wider-knit sweater is another item that has been on my wish list for a while. I wanted one that was lighter weight, could be layered, and would work for the coming transitional months. This one totally nails it! I love the cream color, the slightly open knit, and it’s so comfy to boot! They’re calling this a boatneck, but to me it just feels like a slightly wider crew neck. You can still wear a regular bra with it. Fit is oversized but so cozy! I’m in a medium.

Bodysuit + Wide Leg Pants

Another item I’ve been hunting for is a pair of wide leg pants. They’re another item I’ve really struggled with in terms of length! Like joggers, they often come in a cropped length. And for someone with really long legs, regular crops look ridiculous on me. Thank goodness for tall/long length!! I’m wearing the medium long here and they are perfection. The material of these is gauzy cotton. They have a small slit on the bottom of the outer pant legs that allows for beautiful movement too. These also come in black and leopard print!

Scuba Tank + Paperbag Shorts

For those of you who aren’t all about a bodysuit, I also ordered this scuba tank. I was hoping it would be a similar material to the bodysuit but in tank form. It ended up being not as smoothing, but it’s still super-soft. The length is pretty cropped, so I’d have to wear it with high waisted bottoms or end up showing belly! You may want to size up for extra length if that’s a concern! I do love the racerback cut. It’s so flattering on the shoulder! It also comes in tan and white!

Y’ALL! I finally found paperbag shorts! Remember those ones I tried from H&M that I just could not make work? Well, these are everything I had wished those were. And I like the fabric so much better. These have more structure to them and are 100% cotton. If you live in a warmer climate, these are a perfect transitional item. You can layer them up with cardigans and sweaters! They fit TTS and come in three color ways. (This is the olive green, but it looks a little more khaki!)

Two ways to wear the paperbag shorts! I should have also layered with the cardigan or a military style jacket!

Leopard Sweatshirt + High Rise Jeans

Where are my sweatshirt lovers at?! Apparently, I’m now a collector of them. Being at home all the time will make that happen real quick. This one is oversized in fit with slightly balloon sleeves. It also comes in another leopard option and two solids. I’m in a medium!

I could not wait to try these jeans out! I’m always on the hunt for a good pair of distressed jeans, and these immediately caught my eye! They are a high rise mom jean with ankle length. Again, knowing that they are meant to be cropped, I ordered the long length and it works perfectly! You can check the inseams on the site, but I’d recommend getting the long for ladies 5’9″+! Sizing-wise, I suggest sizing up. They are a rigid cotton denim without stretch!

Ribbed Long Sleeve Top + High Rise Jeggings

I love a good button-front shirt! The color of this one is the perfect neutral! The buttons are also functional, making it a great nursing-friendly option. What I didn’t love was the cling of the fabric. I sized up one and it still ended up being very form-fitting! I might have liked it better in two sizes up. Just keep that in mind when ordering!

Right after having Eliana, the first pair of jeans I bought were jeggings from Abercrombie! I wore them to death because they were so stinkin’ comfortable!! In case you were wondering, they’re still as good as they were two years ago. They are a true jegging with thinner denim, lots of stretch, and faux front pocket. But if you’re looking for something like this, I highly recommend them! They fit TTS!
