I had to hold myself back because of all the latest releases, this has been my favorite by far! Get ready for a big new fall Madewell try on with a ton of gems!

I share a curated group of items I’ve recently ordered from Madewell along with photos of each item on! Get ready for all of the details you want to know: how things feel, how they fit, and any other recommendations I may have!
My Sizing
For reference, I’m 5’7 1/2″ with a short torso and very long legs! I typically wear a 28/29 in jeans or a size 8. My bra size is a 36C, and I typically wear a size medium (or 8) top.

Floral Embroidered Sweater
This is the sweater that I was the most excited about receiving! It is the most beautiful dusty pink color with beautifully detailed rusty red flowers. The fabric is super soft as well! Maybe it’s just me, but the flowers are giving me poinsettia vibes, which is perfect for this time of year! It’s almost like a little nod to the holidays without being a full-on holiday sweater. Also, I would wear this regardless of the season. An all-around win! 😉 I’m in a medium and could have easily sized down one. It has a relaxed oversized fit! It also comes in a golden color!
Puff Sleeve Top
Another top that could pull holiday but isn’t Christmasy! I love the deep jewel-toned green and the embroidery! It’s beautiful! The sleeves are dropped with a slight puff, and the fit is very oversized. I sized down one to a small, and it is still very roomy! Be sure to size down! It also comes in a peachy-orange color!
Pointelle Mockneck Sweater
If you live somewhere colder and need a heavier weight sweater, this one is your gal! The yarn is thicker and more substantial. I adore the deep purple shade with lighter purple speckles. It has a mock neck and the fit is very oversized. I’m in a medium but I’d prefer a small. Size down!
Fleece Cardigan
When I first put these fleece cardigan on, I was underwhelmed. Since it’s a true fleece, it felt a little bulky when all buttoned up. But y’all, I love it layered up! Look how cute it is with a tee! I recently took this on our trip to The Homestead as well and wore it layered with a striped turtleneck. It is so cute, cozy, and warm! It also comes in mint and brown. Fit is TTS!

Flannel Boyfriend Shirt
I shared the green version of this flannel in my last try on. I absolutely loved the style but just never wore the color! So, I went back and ordered this burgundy. And I’ve already worn it! It is so soft, long enough for leggings, and such a classic. Sometimes it really is about finding the color that works right for your wardrobe! And for me, this color is right up my alley! Fit is TTS, but I would size up for length if you’re on the taller/longer torso side!

Half-zip Pullover
I’ve seen these zip-pullovers cropping up everywhere these days! It’s a style my husband has been wearing for years, so I love that women’s fashion is embracing the trend! This one has pointelle stitching and a cropped fit! It’s a little wide as well but the fabric allows for swing, which keeps it flattering! It’s perfect for denim or even casual leggings outfits if you don’t mind a little exposed booty! 😉

Wide Leg Pants
I have been going back and forth with these online for a while now and finally went for it! The last time I tried Madewell’s wide leg cropped pants, they looked ridiculous on my long legs. I’m so glad I went with the tall because these work! They have a flat front waistband and elastic back! They also have pockets and are so comfy! These are the type of pants that you can dress up or down. They look equally as cute with sneakers and heels! Fit is TTS! I’m in the medium tall.

Colorblock Sweater Dress
I love a good sweater dress for fall and winter. This one has the most beautiful color blocking! The only downside is that it does contain some wool. So if you’re wool sensitive, I’d skip it! Fit is TTS. I’m in a medium.
Hoodie + Jogger Sweatpants Set
Sweat set liiiife! Who is with me?! I shared this hoodie with y’all a while back but the sweatpants were backordered. But now… TADA! They have the same super-soft inside as the hoodie. Seriously. It’ll make you not want to layer with a tee it’s so soft. The hoodie has a shrunken fit but still fits TTS. The jogger sweatpants fit high rise with an elastic waistband and drawstring bow. I also love that they’re plenty long enough! They fit slim to the leg but not tight. I’d recommend sticking true to size!
Crewneck + Sweatpants Sweat Set
Y’all, I love these pants. Love love them. I had been wanting more of a true sweatpant look with the elastic bottom. And I found some at Aerie but they did not have pockets. Well these are the answer! They are just as soft on the inside as the Aerie pair, but they have pockets, and they actually are flattering on. Not to keep dumping on the Aerie pair but those babies were so oversized it was crazy. 😂 These fit TTS. I now also own the gray pair!
The sweatshirt is just as soft and comfortable as the pants. It’s very oversized in fit though! I’m in a medium and would need a small! But this set is what my winter time dreams are made of!

Waffle Jumpsuit + Leopard Slippers
Are y’all down with onesie pajamas? ‘Cause this girl is. These are made of waffle knit cotton and are so soft and cozy!! They also have functional buttons for the nursing mamas. I’m in a medium but I reordered in a small to try those. My short waist often makes weird droopy crotch things happen with relaxed jumpsuits like this! 🙈
Also I finally gave into the sandal-style slippers. I never thought I’d do it, but here we are. They are so fluffy and soft it is wild! They fit TTS!

Cable Knit Cardigan + Stretch Straight Leg Jeans + Chelsea Lug Boot
I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about this cardigan since it has a higher neckline (more of a crewneck!), but I LOVE it on! It comes in three colors, and this green is gorgeous in person! I also love the cableknit details! The fit is very relaxed. I sized down to the small, and it’s still very spacious!
The turtleneck is one I’ve had for a few years, but I still need to call it out and recommend it. I own two of them and love them for layering! They’re super lightweight and soft. Highly recommend!!
I know so many of y’all have been looking for a straight leg jean with stretch and these are them, y’all!! The Perfect Vintage Jeans are my all-time favorite Madewell denim cut, and I love that they came out with a pair with stretch! They are very comfortable but still a thick, substantial weight denim. Stick to your normal Madewell size! I’m in a 28 regular length.
Lastly, the boots. Y’all! I LOVE them. I never thought I’d be into this style, but after buying the Madewell combat boots, I wanted to try these. And no surprise, I love them. I also appreciate that they just slide on. Gotta admit that I appreciate that over laces. 😂 They also come in black and fit TTS!

Demi Bootcut Jeans
Another pair of stretch comfort denim!! These are a lightweight, less thick than the last pair, but so crazy comfortable. I could sit down all day long in these and not be uncomfortable. I did go with the tall since the inseam is a little shorter in these! Also, I love them with the lug sole boots so much! They also look fab with a pointed toe boot for a dressier look! Size down one. I’m in my typical Madewell size.

Fleece Popover
I’ve seen a lot of fleece popovers over the last year, but the fun color contrast and pockets make this one unique! I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about it after seeing it on the model, but seeing it in person 100% convinced me! It comes in three color options but I just love the pink and burgundy color combination! (It reminds me so much of that first sweater! 😉) Fits oversized and swingy. I’m in a medium!

Puffer Parka
If you need a true heavy parka, this one offers so much warmth! I love the quilted details, the color is gorgeous in person, and it’s thick and cozy! It features a hood and a double pocket on the left side! Fits oversized. I’m in a medium!
