I don’t know about you, but with school being right around the corner (we’re less than a month away! Eeek!), I’ve got fall fashion on the brain. So, I found a few affordable and on-trend pieces from Walmart that will be perfect for those transitional summer to fall outfits!
First up is this classic yet cool shirt dress. What I love about this style of dress is that it is truly timeless. With clean lines and button-front style, it’s a style that will last you for years. It also gives off a truly effortless vibe. From spring to fall, this dress will have you covered! For now in summer, I’d opt to wear it with a strappy sandal. But for going into fall, simply adding a bootie and leather accessories is the perfect way to transition for cooler weather!
Another transitional wardrobe staple is a great pair of black denim! While lighter washes give off more of a summery vibe, instantly swapping for black brings your look into fall! These are my second pair of these Free Assembly straight leg jeans, and I LOVE them. (Check out my Free Assembly Review post to see three other washes of these exact jeans. They are GOOD!!) Quick sizing note: while I sized up in the other washes of the 90s jeans, I found the black wash to have more stretch! Stay true to size!
Having a lightweight transitional sweater is another one of my favorite pieces for summer to fall outfits. This one is 100% cotton and so breathable. Plus it has a bit of an open weave, making it a sweater you could wear now on cooler nights and well into fall! I paired it with these belted fatigue pants. And I’ve gotta tell ya: these pants were probably my favorite find of all! They are lightweight and have some stretch, keeping them super-comfy. I’m also a sucker for a tie belt! The olive color is truly season-less but it lends itself perfectly for fall! I sized down, so they have a more fitted look on me. But stay true to size if you’d like a more relaxed cut!
