It’s been a while since I was super-excited about a fresh batch of arrivals. But the Target early spring finds are so good. Last week, I went in to my local store for a quick browse and ended up trying on over ten new dresses, tops, and pants that will have you 100% ready for spring!
For reference, I’m 5’7 1/2″ with a short torso and very long legs! I typically wear a 28/29 in jeans or a size 6/8. My bra size is a 36C, and I typically wear a size medium (or 8) top.
If you ever have any question about what size I’m wearing, check the links below each image! I list any recommendations I have for sizing up or down for quick reference. (TTS= true to size!) For full details, I’ll be chatting all about quality, style, and fit in the paragraphs above each photo. Let’s go!
Target Early Spring Finds
When it comes to spring tops, ones like this are my ideal. I love an easy, breezy versatile top, and this one is perfection. It has a slight ruffle sleeve with smocked neckline and a linen blend construction. The fit is very relaxed. I recommend sticking true to size, but if you’re in between sizes, size down. It also comes with a matching skirt! My store didn’t have it in stock, but I wish I could have tried on the complete set. It looks so cute online!
The moment I put this eyelet top on, it was instant love. The body is fully lined with open eyelet sleeves. Of course I love the statement the sleeves make too! It does fit true to size with zero stretch. For those of you with larger busts, I would suggest sizing up.
And these pants? Another win! They are a high rise with light stretch. In addition to this golden brown shade, they also come in olive, black, two shades of khaki, and dark purple. They fit true to size.
I absolutely loved this dress right off the rack. I’m such a sucker for anything white or eyelet. The only downside is that the fit is quite large. I tried on my typical medium and was swimming in it. Unfortunately, I didn’t think I could size down because of the length. This might be suited for slightly more petite ladies, but definitely size down 1-2!
I don’t often times find myself drawn to red but I love this dress. It’s a beautiful mix of red shades with an embroidered smocked neckline. But it does also come in three other color options! The sleeves are slightly ballooned but not crazy-oversized. I would recommend sizing down. I’m in a size small here, and the fit is still relaxed as it’s intended.
One of my favorite dress finds of the day! It has a ruffle neckline, empire waist, tiered skirt, and pockets. Cue me singing, “these are a few of my favorite things.” It also comes in a gold embroidered version, but I just love this navy floral. Size down one. I’m in the small.

When I shared a few of these dresses to Instagram, this green maxi was a fan favorite by far. The color is just stunning, so I can see why! It also comes in black and white. Easily dressed both up and down, this dress is such a great versatile option with a fun statement sleeve! It fits true to size.
I wasn’t sure about this one on the hanger, but I’m so glad that I tried it on because my mind was instantly changed. I love the v-neck and button-front detail, which makes it nursing-friendly. It also has a figure-friendly drawstring waist. The slightly boho feminine vibe is right up my alley. It comes in a ton of other colors and print options as well!
I know people either love or hate them, but I’ve always been on team jumpsuit. This one is so cute with a v-neck and shoulder ties. The waistline is a thicker elastic band and the length is slighly cropped on me. For cooler days, I’d layer this with a tee and wear it solo for warm days. It fits relaxed but true to size. If in between, I’d recommend sizing down.
I’ve been on the fence with these oversized collar tops, but this one is cute! Unfortunately, they didn’t have my size in store, so it’s a little more oversized than it would be in the proper size, but you get the idea. The collar has an eyelet design and ruffle trim. The sleeves are ballooned and the body fits relaxed. It also comes in red, white, and a bolder floral print option.
More white eyelet? You know it. This top has a ruffle neckline, elastic waistline, puff sleeve, and peplum bottom. The only downside is that the body of the top is unlined. It’s not see-through per se, but you can see the sheerness from my skin to wear my jeans start. Since it’s unlined, this is more suited as a warm weather top, but still so cute. It fits true to size.
Ok, last white top, I promise. What can I say? Your girl has a type. This one has the embroidery around the shoulders and on the front. It also has a defined waistline and peplum bottom. But unlike the last top, this waistline of this one is fixed and not elastic. It also comes in a beautiful mint color with an all-over floral embroidery, which I really want to try. It fits true to size and is unlined.
