What’s a good bathing suit without the perfect cover up?! Today we’re talking about the best swimsuit cover ups! From pants to skirts, dresses to shorts and everything in between, I’m rounding up all of the options at varying price points!

Best Swimsuit Cover Ups

I’m sure this will come as no surprise, but when it comes to swimsuit cover ups, I like options. Depending on the suit I’m wearing or where I’m going informs my swim look vibe. 😂 So, of course, I’m bringing you lots of options so you can find one that fits your personal style too!

For the try on, I’m wearing this one piece suit from J.Crew. It is one of my favorite super-classic styles that has lasted me years now! My Sizing

For reference, I’m 5’7 1/2″ with a short torso and very long legs! I typically wear a 29 in jeans or a size 8. My bra size is a 36C, and I typically wear a size medium (or 8) top.

Linen Blend Wide Leg Pants

There is something so chic about a white wide leg pant! These are a linen blend full-length option with an elastic waistband and pockets. What’s wonderful about these pants is that they are fully-lined. You’ll be able to wear these from the beach to dinner and everywhere in between. I’m in the medium regular length. They also come in black and several other color options! There is also several matching tops to make a dressy set! Linking the cropped tank, tie-front top, wrap top, corset top, and halter top!

Pull On Shorts + Matching Top

Another great multi-purpose option! These pull-on shorts are made of a soft crinkle cotton. They have a dolphin hem on the side, pockets, and hit mid-rise. I of course ordered the matching top so I can wear the set casually this spring and summer! Both fit true to size, although I did reorder the shorts in one size up to see if I can get a little extra length!

Mini Dress

I adore this little dress! It’s made of a soft textured cotton, has a higher neckline, and deeper cut sleeves. The cut is more of a free-flowing babydoll cut with an elastic waistline at the natural waist. Fit is oversized. I sized down to a small and still have plenty of space! This makes another great option you could wear to the beach and casually with a bandeau bra!

Long Sarong Cover Up

I bought this cover up last summer, and it was my go-to! I love the length. It looks so elegant! The fabric is a sheer textured fabric with zero stretch. It ties at the waist and is very flowy. There are several color options!

Off Shoulder Mini Dress

With a super-flowy oversized fit, textured fabric, and ruffled tier, this is the ultimate Free People beach dress! The neckline has a smocked panel that allows for styling off both shoulders or one. I’m in a medium, and if it weren’t for the length, I would size down one. It comes in several color options!

Button Down Swim Cover Up

When I think of a classic swim cover up, I always think of a white button down! This one is made of 100% cotton with a crinkle texture. It’s long enough to cover your butt and has an oversized relaxed fit. I sized down one and still have plenty of space! It comes in seven color options and also makes a super-cute top to pair with your favorite denim shorts!

Beach Pants

If you prefer a slimmer cut pant, these are a great option! They are a true beach pant with no lining. But I will say that the black are not see-through if you wanted to wear them casually as well! They hit high-rise with a slim straight leg. The length is also cropped! They fit true to size.

Tassel Sarong

This is another oldie-but-goodie of mine! In fact, I’m pretty sure I’ve had this one for at least two years now. I love how easy it is to throw on and the tassels make the cutest detail! The fabric is super-similar to the long maxi skirt option, a sheer non-stretch textured look! This comes in quite a few color options!
