Early fall in Virginia can be a bit tricky with its unpredictable weather. Over the weekend, it was breezy and cool, but today the high will top out in the mid eighties! When I found this leopard shift dress at Target, I knew it’d be the perfect piece to carry me through fall’s ever-changing temperatures.
For a warm day like today, it’s perfect on its own.
Yet I can picture it with a pair of cozy tights and a blazer for cooler days.
Dress: Merona, Necklace: Banana Republic (previous season), Earrings: Nordstrom (previous season), Shoes: Tory Burch (similar)
I love me some animal print, but perhaps even more I love that this dress has staying power. And at $28, I’m sure I’ll get way more than my money’s worth in wear!
What pieces do you look for in fall?
As a side note, I am guest blogging today over on Shayla’s blog, Northern Exposure. Be sure to drop by and say hello!
