Winter Nautical

Oh the irony. Just yesterday I shared photos from our weekend at the beach, and then we came home to this: SNOW. Luckily what was also waiting on my doorstep was a pair of adorable Joules rain boots. And if anything can brighten up even the coldest of days, it’s a pair of boots embellished with bright red dress nautical inspired for winterI loved them so much that I pretty much planned an entire look to match. Some blue gingham topped with a red cardi definitely fit the bill. It even felt a little “winter nautical” if there is such a thing!red jcrew cardigan over blue gingham button downnavy blue and red outfitnavy blue wellies with red bowsred and blue winter layerssomervell necklace, crystal studsTee: Motherhood Maternity, Top: J.Crew (similar), Cardigan: J.Crew, Jeans: Paige, Wellies: c/o Joules, Necklace: Stella & Dot Somervell, Bracelet: c/o Jeweler’s Wife

I love snow, so I’d be pretty happy to get home to that. None here though, ever! πŸ™

Those rain boots are super cute. I have a few pairs of Hunter rain boots but the ribbons on these make it tempting to get another pair!

    Happy Tuesday!

Hey lady – LOVE those boots. You still can’t even tell that you’re near 17 weeks preggo!! Anyway, I’m 22 and wanted to let you know that I’ll be doing a giveaway to an online maternity store in a couple of months. Just wanted to let you know as there aren’t TOO many preggers out there right now so chances are good for everyone!

I’ve seen bowed boots but never these! Adorable!!! I want a pair of rain boots but I should have done that when I lived in Seattle! πŸ™‚ I totally have that gingham top. Cool of you to pair it with a red seater! Always learning!

I have always loved these colors together. Such a cute & preppy look! And I love those boots! Even though I have no use for them here in southern Cali, I want a pair. Maybe I’ll run through the sprinklers in them…Lol
