Happy Thursday, y’all! We’ve almost made it through another week! To celebrate, I’ve got a little giveaway and sponsor feature for you today!
Do you find yourself gravitating towards a more classic, timeless style? Do you love a great print and ladylike pieces? Then you are going to love Bogi of Red Reticule.
I love her ability to rock a blazer with denim for a polished look, and she has a pencil skirt collection that induces envy in this self-proclaimed pencil-skirt-aholic! So without further ado – all about Bogi!
What are your favorite stores to shop at? I am a bargain hunter, so you can most likely find me at the local TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Forever 21, Gap, Old Navy and H&M stores. However, I have a hard time to pass up on a Banana Republic blazer, an Ann Taylor skirt or a Cache dress and I can’t always wait until they go on sale, which gets me in trouble. I also love to check Asos, Chicwish and even Amazon every now and then as well. You can find some great gems at an affordable price on those sites.
What inspired you to start a blog? The girly girl has always been there, I just kept pushing it back and focused on my career. When I moved to the United States to follow my husband, my life changed upside down, priorities changed and I needed to find something that helped me through the adjustment period. My mom was the main reason why I eventually pulled the trigger and started my blog. She loves all things pretty and inspirational as well and the blog is a great tool for both of us to connect, to talk about all things pretty and to brainstorm about outfit ideas. She certainly gives me some constructive critics and encourages me to keep doing what I love and be me. The blog truly is a great creative outlet for me that keeps me well balanced while I am juggling, work and my marriage. I also have met some amazing, like minded women who are truly inspirational.
How would you describe your personal style? It’s definitely classic and chic with a touch of modern. There are a lot of timeless basics in my closet that I like to shake up with one or two trendy pieces.
How did you come up with your blog name “Red Reticule?” Red is my favorite color. Reticule is every woman’s precious little purse with all things beautiful and inspirational in it. We never leave the house without it and a woman’s reticule says a lot about a woman’s personal style, beauty favorites and tricks, everyday life and all the little things that inspire us. This blog is about looking into a woman’s purse and share all things pretty (and also all things real) hiding in it.
I hope y’all loved learning a little more about Bogi. Be sure to enter her $50 Target giveaway and stop by her blog to say hello!
