Sometimes when I have a lot to say, I feel like I don’t even know where to start. Today is one of those days. Over the weekend, three of my friends threw me a baby shower. I knew that it would be blast, but I was completely overwhelmed with truly how fabulous it was. From the decor to the delicious food and desserts, everything was pure perfection. (And there were no silly games! Thank goodness my friends know me well enough not to subject me to “how big is the pregnant lady’s belly”!) The icing on the cake was having my mom and sister in from California to help celebrate. My heart feels incredibly full with all of the love I received from a great group of family and friends.
Being a bit of a clothes horse (understatement of the year?), picking out the perfect outfit was pretty darn important. It was so hot that day, but I still wanted to look fresh, cute, and extra bump-alicious. (It was a baby shower, after all.) This adorable scalloped dress, which I found at ASOS, was the perfect choice. It was lightweight enough for the heat, and of course I loved all of the sweet, feminine details in the eyelet neckline and scalloped hemline.

FANCY! We had my 2nd baby shower at Hooters. I craved their food, my friends got to have booze, and the Hooters Girls fussed over me. It was great!
