Little White Dress

Hi everyone! This is Lydia from Chic on the Cheap filling in for Lauren today. Lauren definitely made maternity dressing look so easy and chic, and hopefully one day in the (somewhat distant) future I can take a page from her!

Much like Lauren, I am a big bargain hunter and believer in remixing the heck out of my closet. Little white dresses are one of my summer favorites – a completely blank canvas can result in a lot of outfit possibilities! As good as my favorite LBD, but since it’s summer and I tend to gravitate towards lighter colors, the LWD is my go-to.

The mint green bag was a vintage thrift find, and soon after I bought it, one of the clasps on the strap broke off. Rather than just replacing the clasp, I decided to take advantage of the situation and actually turn the bag into a crossbody by adding a length of chain to the leather strap. In total the bag still cost me under $20, and now it has so much more versatility!
