Happy Mix it Monday! I don’t know about y’all but I’m on autopilot for the next two days until my Christmas vacation starts. Just two days of work, just two days of work…that’s my mantra. I’m pretty much ready to go with only a little more wrapping before I’m completely prepped. Do y’all have any more shopping left to do?

This J.Crew excursion vest is one of my current favorite layering pieces. It’s so easy to throw on over button downs of any kind, and it definitely adds some warmth (even though my hubby doubts how something sleeveless is actually a cool weather item).

I have been loving all the vests this fall. I don’t have a puffer vest myself, but they look like they perfect layer!

Vests just work! They keep the core warm. I love vests because they’re not nearly as bulky as wearing a large coat and a vest, plus a scarf and hat keep me just as warm as a heavy coat.
