White Lace Cold Shoulder Top

We made it y’all! High fives for Friday! I’m so ready for this weekend. It’s going to be a busy one with a cycling date, pedicure appointment, and housewarming party all on Saturday. (Phew!) Luckily it’s going to be a bit cooler and more manageable than last weekend when I wore this outfit. Aaron, Layla and I headed to the watermelon festival, and I don’t know if I’ve ever been so hot in my life. I thought that this top would be airy and perfect, but I guess when dealing with over 100 degree weather and humidity, nothing can save me from straight up pouring sweat. Pretty glamorous, right?! What was even more glamorous was watching my straightened hair go from perfectly coifed to frizzy, wavy, and all sorts of hot mess. Wow, this took a turn, didn’t it? Trust me. Although I planned to take outfit photos at the festival, I showered and cleaned up before these were taken. I just don’t think anyone would have been pinning pictures of me looking like I was melting.

Hi Lauren, I love that top. I’m hoping that by next summer I’ll be able to wear something like that. I have a goal to lose about 40 lbs.
