There are definitely certain pieces in my wardrobe that I associate with warmer weather, and maxi skirts are one of them. But I’ve been dying to create a slightly dressy winter maxi skirt outfit that will take you straight into the holiday season.
Starting with the right maxi skirt is definitely important. Going with a gauzy or super-summery fabric will look out of place, but this pleated version is perfect for dressing up. To keep this winter maxi skirt outfit a little bit more casual, I paired it with a tee. If you wanted to take it up a notch, swap the tee for an elegant silk cami or lace top! Then just add sparkle and a little bit of edge with a moto jacket. Who says holiday looks have to be all about red, green, and white, right?!!
