Tips for Early Spring Outfits

If you’re eager to add some spring style to you wardrobe, you are not alone! We may have another six weeks of Winter ahead of us, but I am itching to ditch my coat in favor of some lighter, brighter looks. So, in the meantime, while I wait for spring to finally arrive, I’m using these tips for early spring outfits.

For one, I think it’s always great to switch it up to lighter, daintier fabrics. A little bit of lace goes a long way! And luckily, lace trim camis are all the rage right now. They’re perfect for layering with lighter to heavier sweaters. And you can also wear them with warm leather or suede jackets. This one has been a favorite of mine, and it’s currently on sale! Although I typically size down in this brand, I recommend staying with your true size. I’m in a medium!

Next, I’m all about breaking out spring-y colors. Pastels and brights give me all the spring vibes. Whether it’s adding a blush pink scarf to your outfit, completing your look with a bright statement earring, or even wearing a bolder pink lipstick, adding in spring colors can change your look completely! I just recently picked up this pink chenille cardigan, and I love the lighter weight of it. And the color? It just screams spring!

Lastly, it’s all about the shoe. I’m actually one of those people who wears flats all year, even in the winter. But making the switch to a lighter shoe really makes a difference in the appearance of your total outfit! Swap out your boots or booties and try nude or lighter neutrals slides, flats, and pumps!

Oh I love your pink cardi with the black and white! 🙂

We had a sudden cold snap over the weekend and I ended up layering my cami with a cardigan too – great way to wear it in cooler weather! 🙂

Thank you for the link up!

Hope that you had a nice weekend and your week is off to a good start. I’m just hoping for a less stressful week this week, haha!

So pretty! Love the color. I wish I could ditch my coat, but it’s only -6 today. It will be at least another month or two before I can do that! 🙁

I really love this simple, but feminine and cute. I especially love the cardigan and those flats. I rarely wear heels, I just don’t have the stamina to wear them anymore,

I love that cardigan! I was wondering how tall you are because I’m 5″2″ and was wondering if I should get it in petite? I wouldn’t want the flare sleeves to be too long. Thanks for your help.
